Absolutely satisfied with the placements and education.
Placements: The placements are excellent here, with the highest salary of Rs. 30,000 per month and the lowest of Rs. 20,000 per month. The recruiting companies are Lenskart, Titan Eye Plus, and Himalayan Opticals. All the students who got internships from these companies. 99 percent of students got placed from our course.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well furnished. Our labs have AC with all modern equipment required. The hostel facilities are really good, with the food served and the quality of food served. There is also a washing facility for clothes in the hostel. There is also a cafe for students, and the campus life is great with lessons and fun.
Faculty: The teachers are highly knowledgeable with great degrees, helping us solve one-on-one problems. The course makes us industry-ready with the help of our teachers, helping us get ready to crack interviews very easily with good communication skills as well.
Other: This is the best course after MBBS one can do. Nothing more to improve, though. The events are organised for every occasion in our department as well as in the college.

Overall, my college is perfect for me because it has a good environment, teachers, and library.
Placements: 100 percent students got placed. The highest package sometimes being 5-7 LPA, the average 35-40,000 per month, the lowest 15-20,000 per month. Top recruiters including Titan Eye Plus, LVPEI, Dr. Agarwal, AIIMS, and roles offered like researcher, professor, and vision scientist. While 100 percent students got internships in various tertiary care hospitals like LVPEI, Narayana Netralaya, Lions Clubs Eye Hospital, and MGM Eye Hospital.
Infrastructure: We have the facilities of using Wi-Fi, a library with advanced study materials, journals, digital e-books, and modern interactive classrooms, and we have our clinical lab with modern diagnostic instruments to get hands-on experience with outdoor patients. In our hostel, we have a calm and peaceful environment, a study room is also available, with friendly seniors and a warden who is very helpful. The food quality is excellent and very healthy. Our college is associated with a nearby good hospital and good medical facilities. We have a large ground in our college campus where we play every evening.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful and help a lot to provide updated and easy-to-understand study materials. Our teachers are well qualified, and all teachers have great experience in hospital, optical, and research backgrounds, and they provide lectures and explain each topic in a very simple way. Due to practical lectures, they explain each topic in a very simple way.
Other: I chose this course to pursue a career in the medical field with independent clinical practice, I am fascinated by the eye and its functioning. This course offers research exposure, service to people, and helps reduce avoidable blindness, along with good clinical and extracurricular opportunities.

Absolutely satisfied with NSHM Institute of Health Sciences, Durgapur.
Placements: About 90 percent of our seniors did their placements. The highest package is 4-5 LPA, and the lowest is, I think, 2 LPA. Lenskart and Titan Eye Plus were some of the top recruiting companies. All our seniors got their internships, and the companies are Lenskart, Titan Eye Plus, Himalaya Opticals, and so on. Top roles are optometrists and eye consultants. We will be called optometrists and will be able to do anything except surgery. In surgery, we will help the ophthalmologists. Other than that, we are allowed and licensed to do anything and everything like the doctors.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi works at good speed. Labs are clean, and AC works just fine. Classrooms are good in structure, and we have enough benches for 130+ students. The library has all kinds of books from all the courses. The quality of the hostel rooms is very good, and sanitation is clean. Food is good and rich in nutrients. Medical facilities are good too, and the sports and games complex is very good, including all types of games available.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and highly qualified to teach us professionally. Teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant. The courses, as well as CLC classes, make us industry-ready. Exams are moderate enough to pass. Students just need to study.
Other: Medical professions are respected, so is Optometry, serving our citizens with pride. This is why we have chosen this stream, and we can earn enough money too. Practical experience should be more in this course than actually present. All events are celebrated in college with great enthusiasm, and connectivity and communication are top notch here on campus.

Placements: 100 percent of the students are placed in our course. Students secured good paying jobs in different hospitals and optical brands. The highest package after masters is 45000 and after Bachelors is 35000. The lowest is around 10000 to 15000, and the average package is 30000. Top recruiting companies are Lenskart, Bausch & Lomb, Odisha Eye Hospital, Lions Club, GKB optical, and Titan etc.
Infrastructure: College has beautiful infrastructure with 40 acres of large space, well maintained classroom, projector based whiteboards, campus that is fully powered with Wi-Fi. Our course provides a clinical lab with all modern machines like Retinoscope, slit lamp, phoropter which provide a great experience to students. Water and electricity are available 24/7. The hostel area is very eco friendly. Boys and girls hostel are separate.
Faculty: Our teachers are calm, very helpful, and highly qualified, making topics easier to learn through clinical expertise and case studies. Friendly environment, relevant curriculum and 1 year internship make students become industry ready. Exams are moderate with 80 percent pass rate.
Other: I chose this course to pursue a career in the medical field with independent clinical practice. I am fascinated by the eye and its functioning. This course offers research exposure, service toi people and helps to reduce avoidable blindness. Extracurricular opportunities like 4 day fest including sports outdoor, indoor E sports, DJ night, fashion show, and food fest are held every year on the campus.

The NSHM knowledge campus provides us with the best infrastructure and good campus life.
Placements: The best thing about the college is the calmness and the good faculty members. The highest package ranges from 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Top recruitment from this college is pretty decent. Companies like Lenskart are recruiting students from this college. Students with a minimum acceptable percentage get internships from the college.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi in the classroom is good and we will be connected to the Wi-Fi services given by faculty members. Labs are very neat and all instruments are very decent and well-maintained. Classroom size is big enough for 70 students and is also well-maintained. The quality of food is good. Medical facilities are always updated and ready to help on point.
Faculty: Teachers are really very hardworking and friendly. They are very well-educated and well-mannered. They will help us fully and support us too. The teaching methods are pretty decent. Semester exams happen every 3 to 4 months. The passing percentage is 40% in the exams.

Good exposure, excellent faculty, good infrastructure.
Placements: In psychology, most of the time there aren't placements in Bachelor's, but what we are getting here is great exposure in government hospitals and rehabilitation centers. It is very essential and pretty much rare to have any exposure like this in Bachelor's.
Infrastructure: We have good infrastructure. The library has important books related to our field, and there are good Wi-Fi connections all over the campus. The hostel and canteen food are not so good. They are not preferred at all. The quality is bad, and sickness might occur. Sports and games are present.
Faculty: Teachers in the psychology department are very excellent and knowledgeable. They provide great insight and are really good with students. The course curriculum of B.Sc. is the best here as it covers all the basic knowledge of psychology. The exams aren't that difficult. It's okay if you study the main topics, and sometimes the papers are too easy and simple as well.
Other: Our course is not only study or academics related, but what I have noticed is Growth and self-improvement in myself too, it makes you think differently, know yourself and others better. The fests here are beautiful and really fun!
