Critical shortcoming in academic and hostel life at PKN and Science college.

Placements: Placement at PKN Arts and Science college leave much to be desired with the process appearing to be more a formality than a genuine effort to secure meaningful opportunities to its graduates. The lack of substantial engagement from reputable companies and the perfunctory approach taken by college placement cell significantly undermines the students.

Infrastructure: The departments computer labs essential for hands on learning are only partially accessible to students limiting practical experience. A strict no mobile policy restrict access to the digital resources and library with limited books selection that too with unskilled staff. Coming to hostel facilities, Hostel life is marred by the poor quality of food provided compounded by high cost and lack of responsiveness to complain.

Faculty: Faculty members are with zero subject knowledge and I think the whole college will be with the same type of staffs as per my towards the other department staffs and students. Students will definitely struggle when they leave college for work due to unliberty and speak discrimations they faced inside the campus.

Other: No events, no extra curricular activities, no scholarships and nothing to be done by management to the students which helps them. It will be better when the skilled staffs are at charge in the department and ofcourse in the management head. Rules like not allowing mobile phones inside the campus for working staffs and students and punishment for a boy for speaking with a girl or a girl for speaking with a boy is truly degrades the environment.
