I am absolutely satisfied. Less placements. Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: There are low chances of placements. Some companies come and take interviews. The college provides Bachelor of Science, Commerce, and Arts subjects. Therefore, most of the students go for higher studies. The college provides fewer chances of placements.

Infrastructure: Payyanur College provides great facilities and infrastructure for each course. Labs and library facilities are available here, including Physics labs, Zoology and Botany labs, and Commerce labs. The library is very helpful. The college provides a ladies' hostel with good facilities.

Faculty: The teachers were very helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable. My department teachers were very helpful mentally. There will be semester exams and unit tests. The semester exams are sometimes easy and sometimes difficult. The university questions were difficult most of the time.

An overview of Payyanu College.

Placements: There are no placement opportunities provided for students in the case of mathematics. But for commerce students, there will be few opportunities. We have to look for job opportunities ourselves or pursue a master's degree in the respective subject. So I would say there are no placements for mathematics students.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but it can be improved. There is a separate library for mathematics aside from the general library. There are hostel facilities for girls. For boys allotted to sports quota seats, they have hostels; others will have to look for stays outside the college.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and are ready to clarify our doubts. The curriculum is designed in such a way that it equips us with the knowledge needed for a master's degree. The exam standards are good and need thorough study to pass. In the third year, we study only about our main subject or paper.

Other: There are several programs being conducted at the college, including college day and Freshers day. The college is situated in a nice place and has a very spacious campus. All scholarships for college students approved by government is being provided. This college won the overall championship in Kaloltsavam for more than 18 years.

Our campus life is very good.

Placements: It was one of the most reputed colleges under Kannur University. This college provided good academics. The placement cell was not active. No one got jobs through campus placements in our batch. Internships were also not provided at this college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. Free Wi-Fi was enabled on our campus. Classrooms were equipped with projectors, sound boxes, etc. There was a huge library. Several books, magazines, and audio and visual documents were available in the library. Computer laboratory was available on our campus.

Faculty: All teachers were highly qualified, helpful, and experienced. The teaching quality was excellent. They always clarify our doubts. They also helped us during exams. Seminars and webinars were also conducted by faculty members.

Other: I would recommend students to join this college.

Really good college in town.

Placements: Yes placement opportunities do not occur frequently in the college. I personally didn't receive any such opportunities. But there was some recruitment from a private bank a few years back and few students from the college got appointed as well in that.

Infrastructure: College is just one kilometre away from the national highway and can be easily reached by bus. College provides hostel facilities only for girls and boys under sports quota as well. There is squatters nearby and students can also stay there. There is a small canteen. College got football team as well.

Faculty: Good qualified and highly knowledgeable teachers. The course and curriculum is relevant for an undergraduate course. I still doubt the practical applicability of the course and study. Teaching quality has always been well above par.

Best college and campus under Kannur University.

Placements: Placements are quite average as they mainly focus on UG but still have some placement options for students from a few companies last year. They had brands like Milma for recruitment, which was quite good. Around a package of 4.20 LPA is offered. But most students prefer PG and higher studies, so the need for placement is low.

Infrastructure: Almost everything that is needed in a college is available. They have hostel facilities which are near the college for girls, and also have a boys' hostel. College is spread over 78 acres, including seminar hall, library, outdoor and indoor courts, museums, ponds, etc.

Faculty: They have the best faculty as every teacher is eligible only after their Ph.D., who are well-mannered and friendly to students. Semesters are moderate where you can pass easily because they have the best mode of teaching and a lot of skillful activities, around 80% of students graduate every year.
