IT department is not good, go for computer science department. Campus is big and nice.
Placements: Placements are good but we do not get proper information about them. Our teachers do not guide us at all about the placements and other branches. The majority of the students got placed in good companies. Only 2 students from my department are placed. Our department has over 110 students. As I said, only 2 students got internships. Top recruiters are Wipro and IBM.
Infrastructure: There is absolutely no range in my department. There are no washrooms in the diploma, you have to use architecture building's bathroom. They made new labs on the top floor of the building, which have good and working computers. Some computers on the ground floor don't work sometimes but they are okay. They do have good hostel facility. They have 2 canteens, both of them have good food and good seating arrangements. Games and sports are good because the campus is really big. The ground is also really big.
Faculty: Teachers get their degrees but they are not knowledgeable at all. Some ma'am do not even complete our syllabus, and this is only in IT department not in computer science branch. We are not taught 3-4 units in our last semester. It is so difficult for us to give exams and also give external viva. Very few teachers take really good efforts but some do not take any effort to teach students. Teachers pick their favourites, and those students themselves get good internal marks. No matter how good you behave to some ma'am, you will not get good internal marks.
Other: I wish they would include programming languages that are mostly used in the industry. Events and fests are good here.

Underrated Pune’s Top Colleges for Polytechnic Diploma.
Placements: I got 95% in CBSE, and in my course, there are students who got between 85% to 95% in both CBSE and State Board. In our college, the highest package for Civil Engineering is 50 LPA and the average is 5-6 LPA for Diploma. Top recruiting companies are Tata, Infosys, and some local companies, etc.
Infrastructure: Everything is available on campus: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and libraries for degree and diploma students, with 2 different libraries. The hostel is the best. We get every facility like home, for example, AC in each room, room cleaning is done by the cleaners, and hot and cold water is available 24 hours. If a student is sick, a doctor visits the hostel every 2 days to check and provide medicine, and we don’t have to pay the doctor. There is also a gym, a lift for the top floor, and Wi-Fi. The hostel is very strict, and no outsiders are allowed in any room. For hostel students, face scan entry is required for entering rooms.
Faculty: The faculty is top-notch. The curriculum is also the best for different branches. They focus mostly on practical work done by each and every student. Exams are held such as Unit Test 1 and 2 after every chapter’s completion. If you study properly, they are easy, but if not, they are difficult. You should at least get 25 marks in the semester exam to pass.
Other: I am much more interested in programming and teaching, which is why I chose the IT branch. I will pass out from this college in 2026. The GATE closes at 10 at night; it should be open until 12 at night (hostel).

Life of the college is the best.
Placements: Guest lecturers offered by the college are very good. In college, various companies visit for placement and hiring students. Top recruiters are KPIT, WIPRO, and INFOSYS. Basically, top students get placed easily in campus selection.
Infrastructure: WiFi is of very good quality. Classrooms are not very good; there are some old vibes. Projectors are not properly working. The new labs are excellent, whereas the old ones are in poor condition. The hostel mess food quality is very poor. The new hostels are maintained very nicely.
Faculty: Some faculties are good. But some are very troubling. Not giving proper internal marks. Some new faculty are not learned properly, very poor teaching. Exams taken by college are very strict; that is a good point. Curriculum is not provided to students on time.

I am absolutely satisfied and happy with my college and I recommend to take admission.
Placements: Placements percentage of my department is near 70%-80%. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top companies like Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, etc., and startup companies like Humancloud also come for placement. About 60%-70% of students got internships in my course in companies like Infosys, TCS, and some startups. Companies hire for roles like Software Developer, Frontend Developer, Backend Developer, QA Tester, etc., in my course i.e. Information Technology.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good except some classrooms. College provides one Wi-Fi facility also with decent speed. Library also has enough stock of books for students and there is also a stationary and photocopy store inside the college campus so students don't need to go outside. But there are too many network jammers present on the campus so students can get some network issues. Canteen food quality is also good and decent and price rates are also acceptable. College also has hostel facility but there are little bit strict restrictions for the girls' hostel although other things like mess food are of acceptable quality. College organises many events, sports as well as cultural, frequently so one don't get bored. Also, they organise many exhibitions for different departments in which students can participate and showcase their skills.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful nature in our department and their teaching quality is also good. They have good knowledge of their respective expertise subjects. Course curriculum is also relevant but a bit older due to MSBTE. Semester exams are not that much hard if students prepare in a proper way. The passing percentage is around 85%-90%. Students should maintain 75% attendance strictly otherwise they will have to bring their parents to college for justification.
Other: I chose this course because the next era is of AI and ML and so many innovations and technologies are emerging day by day to make our life easier. I think my course can be made better by adding and teaching the latest technologies to students. There are so many events, exhibitions, and other extracurricular activities happening on campus. Also, there are college fests like Traditional Day that happen around the month of February/March mostly. The MahaDBT scholarship facility is available only for students who came through the CAP process and have an income of less than 7 LPA - 8 LPA.

Review of Pimpri Chinchwad Polytechnic.
Placements: There are many opportunities for campus drives and companies like L&T, Tata, Hinduja Tech, Bajaj, and Wipro. Some students got placements in the 2024 batch. Good placements and packages are offered.
A student of my batch was hired for 3.5 LPA in a campus drive.
Infrastructure: Hostels are neat and clean, spacious and have strict rules to be followed. Photos and videos are available on Google Maps.
People other than hosteller are not allowed to enter the college after college hours. The college campus is large and many facilities are available.
Faculty: The faculty is very supportive and understanding; they make sure that students understand the academics properly. The teaching staff is very experienced and knowledgeable. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and ICRs. Study notes and presentations are used for teaching.
Other: The campus is mostly strict and guards don't allow students to roam around freely without any work.
While the college fest is going on, the college gates are secured, and entry is restricted to only students.

PCP -IT department review of teaching quality.
Placements: For the 2025 passing out Batch (IT depth), the official placement percentage is very low since no major placement drives are organized by the placement and training cell for our department, but as I know, there is a placement drive for mechanical department students, and companies like Bajaj and Wipro have visited.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good, but the major problem with the mobile network in the computer labs is that there is no network in the labs. Some labs have outdated computers, sometimes not functional. No updated software, and mainly the projectors in classrooms have some issues since I was in 1st year of the course, there was a problem in projectors, and they are still not fixed after 3 years when I'm passing out.
Faculty: In my department (IT), there are only a few faculty who are skilled. Rest, some lecturers have enough knowledge about their subject, they just read PPTs, plus they expect us to answer all the weird questions they ask about the topic they are teaching. By just reading PPTs, and if any student raises any doubt, they just say Google it out or don't give proper answers to the student, they just deny.
Other: Campus surroundings are good, a fresh environment, near the bus stop and railway station.

Without doing the Registration of the PCP, it is not possible to get the Roll Number Admit Cards. Once you have to come and mark your Registration for the PCP through the Distance Education Department or the venue of the PCP.
