I am dissatisfied with joining the college.
Placements: Placements are not good. High-paying companies do not come for placements. There is no proper placement training for students. They put fake placements on social media. Students are studying in coaching centers to gain their skills. In college, they do not make us learn skills.
Infrastructure: There is no library visit. All notes are printed so that students won't be able to learn new things. The hostel is also very poor.
Faculty: Faculty members are sometimes rude. They didn't give proper attention to students. They always do their duty and do not clear doubts of students. If we ask any doubts, they won't clarify it. It conducts exams daily like school children. Also, the same faculty members handle both subjects. The course is normal. They give notes to study for university exams. If any twisted questions are asked in the university exams, then students face difficulty answering questions.

Reality of the college.
Placements: Placement is average, nowadays BPO companies are visiting our college. Seniors are telling me that there is no offer letter. And also they didn't teach properly in placement classes. They publish fake placements on their social media handle and also no offer letters are provided.
Infrastructure: Canteen facility is average, just like a regular tea shop. There is a separate canteen for boys and girls. The hostel is also improper and not properly maintained. Hostel food is also very bad. The mess facility is also poor they didn't properly maintain anything. If any inspection comes they maintain properly.
Faculty: Daily exams are conducted like school and boys and girls don't talk to each other. Exams are very strict, if we ask any doubts they tell us first to learn the syllabus and it's not needed. They show how they can improve our knowledge. Faculty is sometimes rude and sometimes friendly.

Dissatisfied with joining this college.
Placements: There is no placement at this college now. I feel that about joining college, there is no placement. Now a days BPO companies are visiting our college. There is no placement training given to us. Also, putting fake placements on social media.
Infrastructure: Canteen is very poor, only dried samosa is there. Quality is very poor and also unhealthy foods are provided here. Separate canteen is there for boys and girls, and they are treated like school children. There are less than 5 students in the canteen. Hostel is also in very bad condition.
Faculty: After reopening next week of academic year, they will conduct exams daily. Conducting exams daily and make stress to students. If we fail in internal exam they conduct retest in the evening, and they don't allow to play in PET period. Faculty members are very rude when asking doubts and they tell learn your syllabus.

My honest review is based on my experience.
Placements: Placements are very poor. High-paying companies do not visit the college. Mostly, BPO companies are visiting. Students do not get offer letters. It publishes fake placements as 100% of placements are achieved. Students learn from coaching centers and attending off-campus interviews.
Infrastructure: The mess facility is very poor. The canteen is not clean. There is no Wi-Fi facility. Systems are very old, and the lab equipment is also old. The hostel is very dirty. It does not properly maintain it properly. If any inspection comes, then they will clean it. Else they will make it hygienic.
Faculty: They teach well but they do not give proper training to improve skills. If we ask any doubts, then they clear us. They tell us to mind our business and learn the syllabus. There is no need to learn any other news information. The syllabus is enough for us.

I am very satisfied to join this college. The teaching is very good.
Placements: Around 63 students get placed in our course. The percentage is 9%. The highest salary package is offered in Python programming. The lowest salary package is offered in the Tamil course. The average salary package is offered in the English course. Infosys and Reliance Communication are top recruiting companies in my course. Over 50% of students got internships. Some of them get placed in good positions. Infosys, Reliance Communications, and IBS Software are good companies to get internships. Roles offered in my course are software developer, web developer, program designer, and designing games apps.
Infrastructure: There is a dedicated lab for IT students to develop the web, design a program, and get training for practical examinations. There is licensed software for programming and open-source software support for Python, Linux, and web technologies. Hostel food is very good and tasty. The food is provided by hotels. There is a gym for hostel students. Medical facilities are available. Near the hostel, we have a Ponjesly Medical Hospital. If we have any injury, we can go to that hospital. Many games are available in our hostel like cricket, volleyball, football, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful for passing the semester exam. Daily afternoon, we have a tutorial exam for 1 hour. The exam will be conducted for 1.30 hours. Daily one subject will be provided. The teaching quality of teachers is very good, especially in Python, engineering, and chemistry have awesome teaching. Students can understand. This course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exam question papers are from Anna University. Exams are not liberal. They are difficult. If we study, it will be easy to pass the semester exam. The pass percentage is around 60-70%.
Other: I am interested in software development and game design, so I chose this course. The best things are we can study web designing, software development, and animation design. Some of the scholarships are provided by Tamil Nadu government which is only for students who studied their 6th to 12th standard in Tamil medium.

Good facilities with average fee.
Placements: 75% of students were placed in Ponjesly College of Engineering. Wipro, TCS, and other local companies around Nagercoil offer job placements in HR domain, business analyst, finance domain, and operations with a moderate syllabus and good faculty members to teach on.
Infrastructure: Facilities include 2 cafeterias, washrooms on each floor, library, playground, drinking water facility, labs, etc. Separate hostels for both male and female students are encouraged here with good food and medical facilities. College bus facilities are also provided.
Faculty: The faculty members are qualified enough for each subject. This college's exams come under Anna University, which is easy to crack. Tutorial exams and internal exams come very often, and so we are able to crack the exams or the semesters in an easy manner with a good score.
Other: Our college offers MBA specializations in HR, finance, business analyst, and operations with good faculty members and various cultural events.
