Pravin Rohidas Patil College of Engineering and Technology, also known as PRPCET, was started by the trust named Shree Shankar Narayan Education Trust (SNET) in the academic year 2023-2024. The trust also has a few other colleges, including Rohidas Patil Institute of Management Studies and Shankar Narayan College of Arts & Commerce. Pravin Rohidas Patil College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and has been recognised by the DTE, Maharashtra State.

The college is located in Thane, Maharashtra, and has also been approved by the AICTE. Pravin Rohidas Patil College of Engineering and Technology courses are offered to students at the UG and Diploma levels. The college offers a BTech programme to students as its flagship course for a duration of 4 years. Further, the PRPCET courses are mainly offered to students in the Engineering stream, across several specialisations such as Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.
