Masters in Social Work (MSW) - Batch of 2024

Overall, it is the best college for Master of Social Work.
Placements: Placements were good for our senior batch and have not started for our batch yet. About 77% of students are referred. The offered salary package is Rs. 25,000 per month and the minimum salary package offered is Rs. 10,000 per month in our course. TVS is the top employer of our college. Almost 100% of students secured internships in various companies like LMW, Roots, Texmo, ELGI, LG, Bannari Groups, G Past, various NGOs, and mental hospital around Coimbatore.
Infrastructure: There is a good Wi-Fi facility in every corner of our campus. The food in the canteen is very tasty and served in good quality. Some days the taste of the food in hostel, is a little bad. So, the management should take some measures to improve, so that students like it.
Faculty: The affiliated faculty members are well-trained, and the course curriculum is good. The program offers a wide range of fieldwork opportunities. Faculty members are inspiring and supportive. Semesters are not difficult and pass percentage in our college is around 80%.

I am highly satisfied. Rather than academic, students would be able to learn about life.
Placements: There are about 49 students in our class, and nearly 10 students got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. TVS was the top recruiting company of our college. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 8 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Almost 100% of the students got an internship in various companies in and around Coimbatore like LMW, Roots, Texmo, ELGI, LG, Bannari Groups, G Past, various NGO's and psychiatric hospitals.
Infrastructure: Our college provides E-learning attached classrooms. The library is available for the whole college, and there are more books related to our subject. Quality of food served in the mess is good. Medical facilities are available in case of emergency, and our college gives major priority to sports and games.
Faculty: Staff members and professors in our college are highly qualified and provide excellent knowledge. Quality of teaching is highly appreciable. There are 3 specialisations in social work, namely HRM, MNP and CD. According to our curriculum, we study 3 days in college and 2 days is in the relevant industry. It makes students ready for the industry.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is social work, and it directly connects with people. Our course provides students with an opportunity to show some contribution to society. The college should provide awareness about the course to the public.

It is a good college to study MSW.
Placements: It is great to study here.
Infrastructure: This course deals with theory classes, so there is no need for a lab in this course. In classrooms, there is no need to explain about PSG. Our college has a library, and it is really useful for us to get books related to our course. There is no facility to issue books specifically. The food served in the canteen is good.
Faculty: Lecturers here have vast knowledge. There are qualified and supportive professors. We had 4 dedicated professors and HOD, and They also feel stress to conduct the seminars. Many students who are good in this field have been asked to give a seminar to gain knowledge. It was really awesome and HR-related course, and it is also a professional course. Our college conducts visits to top companies, and we had an orientation visit to various centres. There are three specialisations in our course, and it was a good learning experience. Our college has a nice atmosphere. Students who focus on a career can join here.
Other: I have chosen this course as I am interested to know about a man and their psychology. PSGCAS is known for its fest.

PSGCAS—“HEAVEN.” It's great to pursue a UG or PG degree based on merit.
Placements: 15% of our batch got jobs, with the highest package at 7 LPA and the lowest at 2.5 LPA. Hyundai, Saint Gobain, and Zifo are the top recruiting companies, all offering core positions. We had internship opportunities in manufacturing industries.
Infrastructure: The campus is large, with many new buildings introduced occasionally. It houses 14,000 students in 2024 but has limited refreshment areas and restrooms. Located near the airport, the Wi-Fi/network is low. All departments must pay the lab fee even if the respective department is not used.
Faculty: Aided teachers are well-trained, and the course curriculum is good. The program provides a wide range of fieldwork opportunities. Faculty members are motivating and supportive. The semesters are state-level difficult, and it is a good choice to pursue MSW at PSG.
