PSGCAS Admission Process 2026
Admissions are primarily merit-based at PSGCAS. Candidates can follow the below steps to get a seat in the college:
Step 1: Application:
Aspirants can apply online on the college's website for admission. Candidates have to create an account fo fill out the form. Aspirants can pay the application fees via any of the online payment modes.
Step 2: Selection:
The college selects aspirants for admission based on their merit. PSGCAS considers scores in entrance exam for admission.
Step 3: Counselling:
The selected candidates send an individual mail with details of their allotted counselling date, slot and session. During the counselling process, once the programme is chosen, transfer to other programmes is not allowed.
Step 4: Payment of Fee:
Candidates have to pay the fees on or before the deadline in the admission slip. Admission process will be intimated to the candidates through mail from time to time. Aspirants also need to report at the campus for document verification. Check below the documents required at the time of admission:

PSGCAS Seats Reservation
The seat reservation is as per the rule of the Government of Tamil Nadu. The reservations rule is applicable to 90% of the seats for Aided programmes, and 50% of the seats for Self-financing courses. Students under categories, such as Physically-disabled, Sports, NCC and Ex-Serviceman are considered for admission under Special Category quotas for the UG self-financing programme.
Specially Abled Seats: In every category quota %, 5 seats out of every 100 seats are reserved for Differently Abled students belonging to that category.

The selection is based on marks and community. In addition, cut off marks are taken out of 400 (other than English and Language marks). English and Tamil marks are taken as cutoff marks only for BA English and BA Tamil admission.
