In 2025 year, PKC has 3rd number position in all Assam, very large number of students get admission.
Placements: In this course, our college placement is average. Minimum 30% of students are placed in higher studies at India's most popular university. Other hand honors in chemistry are tough. 60% of students got internships in the course of chemistry.
Infrastructure: In our department, laboratory is most important. But our laboratory environment is not good. If government has released some funds to improve our lab, then professor will buy some lab items. Wi-Fi is available in our lab. Our college canteen is haziness. Our department has digitalized. Classroom has Wi-Fi connected and digital board for use.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly educated, and knowledgeable. This course makes the students engage in the industry. In our college, semester exams are some difficult. If you study well, then your results will be good.
Other: I have chosen this course because I love chemistry. If your percentage is nice, then government will give you scholarship to study here. Campus is amazing, and environment is eco-friendly.

It is a good college with good faculty members.
Placements: As far as I know, the placement record is very poor. After normal graduation, students go for higher studies only. According to college placement portals launched in 2023 for students, alumni, and the college also conducted on-campus interviews. The college organises on-campus interviews for placements, such as it conducted an interview with SBI Life in June 2023. There is not much data available on the college website about placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is above average and not that bad. Currently, both girl's and boy's hostels are available in the college, but the infrastructure of girls' hostels is much better than boys' hostels. Earlier, the college did not have its own playground, but now it is being built behind the college. The college also has its own gym, open auditorium, labs, and indoor stadium. There is also a library in the college with a lot of books.
Faculty: This college is very good in Kamrup rural district. There are a lot of faculty members and they are very helpful. They are also highly qualified. Normal graduation courses like B.Sc and B.A are good. The course can also be completed with less money. Here, internal exams are conducted by the college's internal committee. Semester exams are conducted according to Gauhati University. Apart from UG, the PG course is also available in some particular subjects. Apart from that, laboratory technology and B.Voc courses are also available here.
Other: I heard that this college is good for the B.Sc so I took admission here. Chemistry and Physics graduation subjects are good here. Teachers are very helpful and friendly here. They also conduct marathon classes of 3-4 hours before exams. Different types of extracurricular activities keep happening in college. Many students from the Chemistry department have also received scholarships to go to foreign universities.

Review of Pub-Kamrup College.
Placements: Our college had not provided placements. There was no placement and training cell in our college. Students go for higher studies or do jobs after graduation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was quite average. Our college authorities were trying to develop our campus, so that respective students may get the relevant college campus. Classrooms were average. Labs and classrooms were not digitalised. The library was quite impressive and had a study room. The library was well-equipped with all types of books.
Faculty: Exams were moderate. Our college was affiliated with Gauhati University, so our college worked under the guidance of the respective university and followed all terms and conditions.
Other: Our college conducts many extracurricular activities and festivals every year. Students participate in inter-college competitions.

At least you are getting the graduation Certificate .
Placements: I do not think that or never heard any of my batchmates got placed straight after graduation. To be very honest the college does not even have any kind of Training and Placement Cell. If any student got placed through off campus placement then it is exceptional. But the college do organise Career Guidance event so that the respective students may get benefit. In such even we could SEE various recognised person from different joining the event.
Infrastructure: Since the college is too old even the college celebration it's Golden Jubilee this year the infrastructure is kind of typical in other word not that modern or up to the mark that's how I would describe. Library is kind of modern even they got study room besides the library if you want to study you can do that. Apart from the library is totally equipped with all the essentials like fan, bulb etc. Classrooms are typical not digital so the Labs rooms are. Apart from that If I talk about the Hostel then it is grant on the basis of the distance that any particular student coming from. But negative thing about is that after 50 long years Hostels for Boys still does not exist. Basically hostels are only for girls. If I talk about the food of hostels there is no exceptional as everyone knows how hotels food could be. Apart from that the college do have indoor stadium where the interested students can play various sort of games apart from that the college do have outdoor stadium too. If I talk about the medical facilities than there is a kind of emergency room inside the campus any kind of sudden emergency we carry out for first aid. The college do have their Canteen too where students hardly eat or drink because whatever they serve the quality is too poor.
Faculty: Faculty are well qualified. Keeping eyes on the course they know what to teach and how to teach the students so that student can understand whatever the respective teacher trying to decipher. Apart from that they do provide study material and always help in case of any kind of help relate to study or course. If I talk about the exams then the Gauhati University set the paper and the college work under the guidance of the Gauhati University. End Semester exams are basically Easy, Moderate, Hard. We frequently SEE the questions on that basis. If you study you will able to attain great point. That is the whole point is. Keeping the negative sides aside at least you are getting the graduation Certificate. That is all that matters.

A highly underrated college in kamrup Assam which have multiple career oriented course
Placements: In our college minimum 60 percent students from bsc department got placement in last year .the highest package was 34lakh per annum and lowest was 8 lakhs per annum, average 9 lakhs .top companies are itc,oil india ,ongc etc.top roles offered by the company was senior executive
Infrastructure: Our college has a very good infrastructure.we have 24?7 wifi connection in our classroom,expensive and well decorated labs as and every department has its own library which contains every semester book .hostel facility are also good , minimum monthly fees and good quality foods are provide .we also have a indoor stadium in our college
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified.most of the teachers like hod and assistant professors are phd holder and they have very good teaching experience.they provide quality education also guide us to shape our career goals .the course is also relevant in day to day life . semester exams are moderate to high and passing percentage is 90 percent

The college infrastructure and faculty members are good.
Placements: There is no such placement ratio. Only two or three percent of students get placement yearly. But the college management conducts seminars on entrance for government jobs on a regular basis. Every student needs to do an internship in a particular semester during the degree, but it is only for learning purposes.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good and eco-friendly. Smart classes and smart labs are present in every department of the college for quality and detailed learning. There is a nice and spacious library on the college campus itself, whose infrastructure and environment are very good. The college contains both girls’ and boys’ hostels in different places. Both hostels have their own mess, and they are very hygienic. Wi-Fi is also present in both hostels.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is very good and friendly. Most of the faculty in all departments have Ph.D. There is a good ratio of faculty members in all departments. Faculty members teach in proper techniques and provide proper notes. Every semester, the final exam is conducted by Guwahati University, but before that, the college also conducts sessional exams in every semester, which makes the exams quite easy.
Other: I chose this college because I heard that the faculty of the college is very good, and I have also experienced it. I think the college management could be a little better. Every year, the college conducts a freshers’ party for the freshers. Every year, a youth festival is organized by the college, which includes cultural, sports, and many programmes.

Pub Kamrup College is the best college in the Pub Kamrup region.
Placements: The college placement was basically for a general degree college, so there were no placements, but in B.Voc many students got placed. Our alumni were well settled in different fields. They worked in the teaching profession and in various government departments. Many students qualified for APSC.
Infrastructure: Our college had hostel facilities. A central library was in our college. All books were available in the library. Our classrooms were modern, with all necessary facilities. Lab facilities were also excellent. Our college also had an indoor stadium.
Faculty: In our college, Arts and Science were offered at the undergraduate level. Self-financed postgraduate courses were also available. All faculty members were highly qualified and taught well. Faculty members were helpful in nature. Our college was under Gauhati University and ASTU.
Other: At the undergraduate level, Physics was the best course in our college. Many scholarships were provided in the college.

I love my college.
Placements: On average, around 70-80% of students get placed during campus placements in many top colleges. However, this can vary a lot by institution and course. During the 4th year, good colleges arrange campus placement drives for students. Better or more recognized colleges can attract MNC companies whose packages start at 3 LPA and go up to 7 LPA on average. Smaller companies offer packages starting from 1.8 LPA. Through multiple rounds of placements, the majority of students gradually get placed.
Infrastructure: The course department has access to a range of facilities and infrastructure, including classrooms, labs, Wi-Fi, and a library. Classrooms are equipped with LCD projectors and Wi-Fi, while labs have specialized software and hardware.
