Good morning everyone, My name is Nishu singh and I'd like to share how the faculty is for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering at Quantum University / Quantum School of Technology — based on what I (and fellow students) have observed. At Quantum University, the Mechanical Engineering department is known for having experienced and knowledgeable faculty members. The teachers are generally regarded as supportive, approachable and willing to help students — whether it's for understanding theory, working on projects, or clearing doubts. Another strength is the focus on practical learning and industry-relevant skills: the department claims to provide well-equipped labs and workshops, and there are collaborations with industry (for example with Larsen & Toubro, “L&T”) to give students exposure to real-world engineering practices. This helps bridge the gap between academic theory and actual mechanical/industrial work.Students and alumni often describe the faculty as helpful mentors rather than just teachers — they guide during projects, monitor practical work, and give one-on-one support if needed. At the same time, as with many institutions, experiences can vary. While many reviews are positive, some students mention that not all faculty members are equally experienced, and in some cases, practical training or workshop access could be improved. -

The placement scenario in M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering and M.Tech Structural Engineering is pretty good. Still, M.Tech CSE usually remains on the higher edge of the scale, as tech professionals are in great demand in the job market. The highest package offered to M.Tech CSE students has reached as high as INR 36.5 LPA, while the average package is around INR 6 LPA. Many top technology firms like Amazon, Oracle, and Infosys recruit from this program. On the other hand, M.Tech in Structural Engineering may have some good opportunities available, particularly forConstruction and Infrastructure Firms, but the average package generally turns out a little lower than that for CSE.Thus, in pursuit of higher salary and a large job opportunity circle in the technology sector, one can opt for an M.Tech CSE
