Exploring life in Ravindra Women's Degree College in Kurnool.

Placements: Around 80% of students got placed in our course. Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Canara Bank, Wipro, etc., visit our college. Roles offered are statistical researcher, data analyst, statistician, and risk analyst. The highest salary package offered is around 5 LPA - 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 2.5 LPA - 3.5 LPA. Internships are very less compared to others. We should search outside for internships based on our talent.

Infrastructure: We have well-equipped classrooms with modern teaching techniques like projectors, whiteboards, and audiovisual facilities which encourage us. For B.Sc. students, specialised laboratories are designed with good equipment. The library is small compared to other colleges but related books are available. If students want any particular book, the librarian will talk with officials and try to arrange it. Wi-Fi is available in computer labs only. There is a fully functional computer lab. The hostel is provided. The quality of the food is not very good. Our friends eat food at the cafeteria most of the time. Sports are very good. There is a spacious ground. Basketball and cricket are provided. Indoor games like carrom and chess are acceptable.

Faculty: Teachers are very friendly. They are like our own family members. They are well-qualified and very helpful. They have more patience and explain as many times as students ask without any hesitation. The teaching quality is very nice. Every topic is detailed and explained by every subject teacher. My favourite is statistics madam. The semester depends on the knowledge gained and learned. According to the teacher, we can pass the semester. As the preparation is conducted very strictly, the pass percentage is around 35-45%. It depends on the difficulty of the paper.

Other: I am interested in mathematics data analysis, so I chose this course. Statisticians are in high demand as the data is everywhere such as businesses, health centers, government offices, etc. It is rapidly increasing. Practical knowledge is missing in our college. We need more projects on computers so we can change our path into IT industries. Fresher's parties, farewell parties, and regional festivals are conducted. Recently we enjoyed a lot in freshers parties with our juniors. There is no crowd. The campus does not have many students. It is surrounded by greenery. I don't know about scholarships much but my friend scored well in her intermediate exams and got free education.
