I think college should try to make more contact with technology companies for student's bright future.

About my college and facilities.
Placements: 50 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 6 LPA. The lowest is 2 LPA. The average package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting company is Ultratech. 70 percent of students got internships from my course at Ultratech in civil engineering. My college is very good for average and topper students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in my department, and the labs are good. All classrooms are very good and clean. The library is available, and all books are available for my use. No medical facilities are available in my college. There is no canteen. Sports and games are playing in group and very big ground.
Faculty: All teachers are good and knowledgeable in teaching. Teaching quality is excellent. There is no difficulty in the semester exam. 90 percent of students pass in this college. All students pass easily because my teachers are very good and hardworking for my classes.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in studying building construction and design. All events are celebrated in my college. The campus is situated on 250 acres. Scholarships are available for eligible students.

Labs are not well-equipped. Most of the systems are not in working condition.
Placements: Placement is just starting to take place in the college. The average package is like 4 LPA to 5 LPA. The reason is that the CSE branch is newly introduced. The packages and number of placed students are increasing year by year. There are some good off-campus selections also.
Infrastructure: I am not a hostel student but I heard from my friends that the facilities like mess are good. I heard some of the difficulties faced by students at starting 1st year but it's pretty good from the second year. Different types of sports are conducted.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and the course is completed on time. Regular classes take place in a continuous manner. If you miss one class you are left behind. Some of the subjects like engineering graphics are pretty difficult. For some subjects you have to take the help of YouTube.
Other: Fests are pretty good. You can participate in sports, dance, and other activities. Seniors are very inspiring and helpful.

Genuine review by a REC student.
Placements: The placement scenario is quite satisfactory. During the 2025 season some companies visited campus like UltraTech, Ecospace Infrastructure, AGI Greenpac, WeSkill, Teachnook, and a few more. The average package offered ranges between 4 LPA and 5 LPA for my branch and the highest package offered this season is 12 LPA. The Training and Placement Cell helps students a lot during the entire process. I was part of the Training Placement Cell this season drive as a volunteer. It coordinated effectively with recruiting companies to ensure that maximum students receive placement offers. Also for my branch companies like Aviotron Aerospace, Eicher, Cognizant, and some more.
Infrastructure: For my branch electronic and communication engineering the department building was made in 1999 as faculty members say the department has classrooms labs like network lab, DSD lab, microwave lab, EMI lab, circuit lab, and a library. As the building is a little old it now needs maintenance. I am not satisfied with the building of my course. For the hostel there are two boys' hostels one of which was newly established last year and a girls' hostel. Hostels have well-cleaned washrooms and each room has 2 students.
Faculty: Faculty of the college is good for different branches like CS, EE, ME, and Civil. They are helpful and cooperative but the electronic branch faculty are very strict like for attendance for mid-semester and for practical viva (internal and external). There is a 75 percent mandatory attendance required to sit in mid sem and end-semester exams except for some exceptions but the faculty is very strict for the EC branch which is not cooperative. Although this is an autonomous college but the curriculum is associated with RGPV University Bhopal therefore, the curriculum follows their syllabus and semester exams are conducted very late in the semester which creates problems for students.
Other: I chose this college and discourse because of the low fee structure of the college and as I am from Rewa so it is good for me but after taking the admission I got a reality check. The best thing about the course is that the environment of the electronics and communication department is very professional and the faculty members and students want to grow in electronics and communication branches. The best branch of the college is the Electronics and Communication Department. I wish to improve the infrastructure of the college events like the annual fest, Arambh Techfest, which happens every year, and clubs like Cell, Recpedia, Avishkar, and Abhiruchi.

I am satisfied with the faculty and the course.
Placements: Rewa Engineering College (REC) in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, has a dedicated placement cell and career development centre that works to help students find placements. While the college has seen placements in companies like IndiaMART, Capgemini, Infosys, and TCS, the placement rate and salary packages vary by department and year. Some sources suggest an average package between 3.5 LPA and 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. A new building is being designed this year. Rewa Engineering College also started to provide M.Tech, for which a new building was constructed. They have 4 playgrounds for playing sports like football, cricket, volleyball, kho-kho, etc. They have good labs.
Faculty: The institute has a team of highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated faculty and committed supporting staff. Many of them are Ph.D. and M.Tech. Degree holders have published/contributed a large number of high-quality research papers in international and national journals and in conferences of repute.
Other: The college is too good, according to the fees. Don't expect anything beyond that. But the college is better.

Overall, my rating is good.
Placements: Around 70–75% of students got placed, mostly in software roles. The top recruiters were OpenSense Labs and Red Hat. Placements were okay. Placements were not the main concern, as students could also try off-campus, and they would get time to study.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. You could consider it more than average, in the good category. It was still in the building phase, but the overall infrastructure was good. The college had all the necessary labs and equipment, as it was a government college.
Faculty: Faculty members were good and well-experienced. There were no attendance rules or policies for students. So they could prepare for their placements or other exams during college hours. Faculty members were very supportive and knowledgeable, as the majority were IIT/NIT graduates and Ph.D. holders.
Other: You can do B. Tech from here as the fee is very low at Rs.22,000 per year. For placements, you can prepare on your own, and the placement coordinator can help you get off-campus placements.

My college is the best in central India, featuring numerous expert faculty members and departments.
Placements: Almost all the students got placed in my branch. The highest package is 6 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 5.5 LPA. L&T, Ultratech Cement, and HMBS are the top recruiting companies. Nearly all students secure internships with reputable companies like NTPC.
Infrastructure: My college is set on 250 acres. It features a large campus with numerous facilities. Every classroom has a skateboard and a big library. All branches have their dedicated labs. There are two boys' hostels and one girls' hostel. The college mess maintains hygienic conditions.
Faculty: Almost all faculty members are from IITs and NITs. They are very supportive and help us a lot. There are mid-term and sessional exams in each semester, which are of moderate difficulty. We must pass these exams with a score of 50%, and if we fail, we have to retake the exam.
Other: I chose the civil engineering branch because it is the best branch in my college. All my faculty members are highly regarded. A cultural fest called AARAMBH is held every year.
