Life in Barkatullah University Institute of Technology
Placements: Eighty percent placement rate of our college, the highest package is 10 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are VOLVO and MPDSE, making them the main recruiters. The rate of students securing internships is commendable, and the students who got placed are already industry-ready, mainly due to our teachers and professors.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure deserves appreciation, as there are separate labs for each branch of our college. However, regarding the hostel, it is not very friendly, as there is no warden, rules are lax, and the mess is poorly managed with lazy staff.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified as per my thoughts and the teaching quality is also very good. The TPO is working great as the students are getting placed in the companies. Exams are very strict and student-friendly. Cheating is not an option.
Other: I opted for this course because it has a better future, and the course has a high payslip.

The quality of study is very good and the staffs are very knowledgeable and intelligent.
Placements: 80-90% of students are placed in our college. The highest package is 15 LPA. The lowest package is 4 LPA. The average package is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Wipro, etc. 70-80% of students got internships in your college in company like TCS.
Infrastructure: The facilities available in course are labs like computer lab, civil lab, mechanic lab, engineering drawing lab, etc. Library is also available in the department, The central library is also available on campus. The quality of food available in hostel is good. They also provide medical facilities. But there is no canteen on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are qualified. Every staff member has done their Ph.D. They are very knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is very good. The courses are very helpful for the students and it makes students industry-ready. Exams are not too much difficult. The passing percentage is 33%.
Other: I am choosing this course because I am interested in this field. I am curious to know about the technology. The improvement in the course is to provide more practical knowledge. Not too much events and fests are there in this college.

Overall, the college is good for study and achieving your goals.
Placements: The placement of Barkatullah University in the Computer Science Engineering branch is decent, not good—just average. Other core branches like Mechanical and Civil have a very low placement rate. The faculty for all courses and branches is good, and each department has separate faculty members. HODs are assigned to each department. The placement of Barkatullah University in the Computer Science Engineering branch is decent, not good—just average. Other core branches like Mechanical and Civil have a very low placement rate.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good in vibes, and all departments are separate from each other and well-maintained. Also, girls' and boys' hostels are available with a very nominal fee structure.
Faculty: Good faculty of all courses and branches, all departments have separate faculty members, and HODs are maintained for separate branches.
Other: Barkatullah University is good for campus life, and the campus of BU is very big, peaceful, and green in nature.

In this college, you can get admission through the JEE entrance exam.
Placements: In this college, you can be placed by the help of the JEE entrance exam with a 75 percentile in the branch of computer science. The lowest package is 3.5 LPA, the average package is 5 LPA, and the highest is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Capgemini, etc. If students get more than 7.5 SGPA, they can get internships in BSNL, Teach Mahindra, etc. Top roles offered in this course are AI/ ML Engineer, Cybersecurity Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: In the department of UIT CSE library, free Wi-Fi, purified water, big and beautiful labs, clean classrooms, very good and beautiful infrastructure of hostel, and government hostel are there with 4500 per annum feels, with free Wi-Fi, hot water, purified water, open gym, proper senior guidance etc. Facilities are there in the hostel of both boys and girls.
Faculty: All teachers are very helpful and filled with good knowledge. High-quality technical teachers are there. In the CSE course, students are trained by teachers to be very good engineers in their life. Exams are hard, and the pass percentage is 50%, which is easy to score in this field.
Other: In the course of CSE, there is a big scope in the future. In this college, very good facilities of computers and tools are available for students to help them become good engineers. I wish that our college Wi-Fi needs to be enhanced in the future. Lots of events, fests, industrial tours, and workshops are held. Scholarships are for only lower castes such as St, Sc and OBC.

Placements: Barkatullah University College's placement scenario is somewhat limited, offering fewer opportunities compared to other institutions. The placement cell, though active, struggles to secure a high placement rate for students. Approximately 50% of students from our course were successfully placed, which is lower than desired. The highest package offered was INR 8 LPA, while the lowest was INR 2 LPA, with an average package around INR 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course included a few notable names, such as TCS, Infosys, and Wipro, but the diversity and number of recruiting firms were limited. The roles offered were primarily entry-level positions such as software developer, junior data analyst, and assistant consultant, which may not align with the higher career aspirations of many students. Additionally, around 40% of students secured internships, with companies like Infosys and TCS being the primary providers. The placement cell does organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance students' employability skills, covering essential topics like resume writing, interview techniques, and soft skills development. However, the frequency and quality of these sessions could be improved to better prepare students for the competitive job market. Faculty: The faculty at Barkatullah University College is highly qualified and supportive, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the curriculum. Other: I have an interest in the information technology course; that's why I have chosen it. The best thing about the course is that it's helpful for my future. Colleges and seniors provide a festival for freshers students.

All about Barkatullah University .
Placements: There is no placement opportunity. If you want to get a job or internship, you have to apply off-campus. Some of the students joined unpaid internships, and out of 100 students, only 10 to 15 got jobs. In my class till now, no one had yet gotten an internship.
Infrastructure: There is a small building but the whole university is on 400 acres. There are two computer labs with a capacity of 50 students. Wi-Fi facilities are available but they are not working properly. Sports event held every year at the university. There are no medical facilities available.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful. Most of them are guest faculty so there qualifications are not so good. They don't even know the basics of CSE. The course syllabus is good and easy. Semester exams are not that difficult; you can easily clear every subject.
Other: The beautiful thing about college is that its campus is so beautiful and full of greenery. Scholarships are provided on the basis of caste.

B.E./B.Tech through BUIT is possible without JEE Main only in case you have a Diploma and you are able to seek admission in the B.E./B.Tech course by using the lateral entry scheme; otherwise, you would need to obtain JEE Main through MP-DTE counselling. The institute does not welcome the CBSE/AIEEE

The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 results for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) were released on April 18, 2025. A few papers had delayed or withheld. Their results were released by April 29, and Session 2 Paper 2 (Architecture/Planning) results were out by May 23, 2025.
