Average commerce experience.
Placements: Academically, exams are conducted fairly and on time, and the syllabus covers a broad range of topics in accounting, business, and economics. However, placement opportunities are limited, especially for core commerce roles. Most recruiters coming to campus focus on IT or BPO jobs rather than finance, audit, or management roles. This college may be a better choice for students planning to pursue higher studies like M.Com, MBA, or competitive exams rather than expecting direct placements after graduation. Overall, support systems like counseling or placement assistance are not very strong.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and campus facilities are average. Classrooms are basic, and digital resources are limited. Hostel accommodation is mostly available for girls, with limited options for boys, which can be convenient for outstation students.
Faculty: I'm pursuing B.Com here. Course content is decent but could use an update to reflect current industry trends. Some subjects feel outdated, and there's a lack of practical exposure, like internships or live projects. While the faculty is generally supportive and experienced, teaching methods remain mostly traditional and textbook-based.
