Navigating the best and the worst of my college life.

Placements: There weren't any placements in the college. None of the companies visited the campus for recruitment. I have neither seen nor heard of any placement in the college campus. Also, there weren't any internships offered to any students by any recruiting companies.

Infrastructure: Most of the facilities are outdated and don't have basic facilities like well-set classrooms, proper seating arrangements. No Wi-Fi or internet connectivity. The classrooms were outdated, devoid of any modern technology. There is a library with hundreds of books, science labs, but all lacking modern facilities.

Faculty: All the faculty members were helpful, including the non-teaching staff. They were generous and ready to help in any given circumstances. Most of the teachers were well-qualified and knowledgeable. However, the teaching quality was not according to the standards. The course curriculum is relevant and helps students in realizing their true potential and makes them industry-ready. Semester exams are not difficult to pass; however, sometimes the result goes the other way.

Other: I had set it in my mind to opt for this course because the current trend suggests growing business and the culture of startups. The best thing about the course is that it exposes us to the world of business and helps us understand the different aspects of it. Some events and other cultural festivals were celebrated on the campus. Extracurricular activities were minimal. A Prime Minister's special scholarship scheme is there that provides scholarships for students from Jammu and Kashmir. I was one of the students enrolled under this scholarship.

This college needs improvement in everything.

Placements: Only 2% of the students got placed in our college. No companies visit the campus for recruitment. Our college doesn't offer any internships.

Infrastructure: We have facilities like Wi-Fi, a library, and a canteen. There is nothing much attractive in our college. Even hostel facilities are not provided.

Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, qualified, and have a relationship with students. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Exams are not difficult to pass. The pass percentage is 33%

Other: I chose this course for the banking line and the best thing is that it is easy for me. The college should remove some subjects and organise many events.

Thinking before taking admission in the college.

Placements: There is no specific placement drive held on campus. In my three years, only 2 companies visited. One was hiring salespeople, and the other was hiring front office managers. If you think you can find a job at a college campus placement drive, then you are in the wrong place.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel available on campus. If you live too far from the college, you have to arrange for a PG or rent a room on your own. Many courses are available in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, such as BCA, MBA, BBA, B.Sc., B.A., PGDCA, DCA, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are very good and friendly. They are very helpful. The curriculum is solid, and the college is affiliated with GNDU Amritsar. Exams are held on schedule, and there are also class tests every month, to prepare you for the exams. These tests ensure that you can perform well.

Other: I have a passion for technology-related subjects and am particularly interested in mobile software and computer applications. I believe there is a greater need for practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge.

Good college for sciences and commerce student

Placements: In our college 70% students are placed in top companies like Dell and students are also selected in ISRO ,IIT , The average package offered by Dell is 2.5lakh My cours is related basically to science This college provide the knowledge to improve your time management

Infrastructure: There is no hostle facilities , but there is wifi connectivity is available There is no mess so food is available in canteen There are all types of games are available There is speciallize coach . College has its own ground, Classrooms are not veryy clean

Faculty: Semester exam is quite tough so it is difficult to pass 75%studenys passed every year All the curriculum are related to study and syallbus which help the students in exam In our college there is very fine labs of chemistry, physics and biology so college prepare the students fo industry

Other: My batch is full of passion All the students are very helpfull College environment is very good but I wish that non teaching staff should be more helpfull
