Review of School of Engineering and Technology, MVN University.
Placements: When I join in this university, I saw the poster of students who got placements from our college. I didn't believe whether they got placed or not, but when I joined, I realised it's true. Around 80%-85% of the students got placed, and most of the students get placed in their 3rd year. I enquired students who got placed about salary, and they told that the highest salary package offered was about 12 LPA to 10 LPA, and the lowest package offered was about 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Hero, Honda, Escorts, Powertrac Tractor, Oswal Castings, VEE GEE, Munjal Showa, etc. I mostly do designing and manufacturing. Mostly, students who have at least 60% marks in academics got placed.
Infrastructure: Now I stay in the hostel, and I heard that seniors would rag juniors in the hostel. But in this hostel, all seniors are good, friendly and help us with anything which is necessary.
Faculty: When I joined here, I was afraid of all the faculty members, but all the facilities are good and supportive. They are good mentors and teachers because of their nature. Mostly, professors are from IITs and NITs. They taught about how to perform, how to remember, how to react to the interviewer. The best thing about this university is there is a professor who teaches us workplace competencies. All the faculty members of the mechanical engineering department are highly educated and also good motivators as they motivate and encourage us to qualify in the GATE, IES examination. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. In the mechanical engineering department, students are trained for industrial purpose and make new things. The curriculum of our course is good, and in the syllabus, they taught us new things about automation and artificial intelligence.
Other: When I was in my 8th class, I used to repair most of the things. Then, my father motivated me that you will become an engineer. So when I passed my 12th, I decided to choose the B.Tech course. The best thing about our course is to study new creative things.
