Absolutely satisfied with the campus, faculty, facilities and development activities.
Placements: Our college has a placement cell headed by Dr EM Afsal. The placement cell works very well, and that's why many companies visit our college for placements. Students of our senior and super senior batches and the previous batches got placed in reputed companies like Decathlon, TCS, L&T Finance, MyG, etc. The lowest salary offered to our students is Rs. 15,000 per month. About 25-70% of the students get placed every year.
Infrastructure: SMBS provides many facilities for students, and those facilities are really helpful to us for our academics. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and there is no network problem. A huge library is available which provides endless knowledge and textbooks of scholars. The librarian is knowledgeable. We have an efficient computer lab, 3 classrooms with projector facilities, a smart classroom for presentations and training classes, a seminar hall, a reading room, rest cum sick rooms, washrooms, etc., facilities. The fee structure is not much high. It is much better than any other college or university.
Faculty: The college has 9 faculty members and 2 guest lecturers. Our college offers three major specialisations which are finance, human resource and marketing, and four minor specialisations which are finance, HR, marketing and operations. Each specialisation provides important subject knowledge as well as practical knowledge. The course curriculum covers all the important areas. The college has experienced faculty members with valuable knowledge. They are helpful and give us their best.
Other: We conduct fests and events. We participate in the fests of other colleges as well. The college conducts student development programmes on a daily basis. We can improve our efficiency, knowledge, language, and performance by participating in debates, group discussions, quiz, product launching, value-adding activities, etc.

Satisfied campus life. But, slightly dissatisfied with placements.
Placements: 20% of students were placed in our course. HCl and Esaf are the top recruiting companies. Unfortunately, we didn't get internship programs from our course. The college conducts a management fest in 2020 and also conducts the Odisha Job fair in 2019 (around 400 companies are part of this job fair).
Infrastructure: Mahatma Gandhi University is an eco-friendly and green campus. Fully Wi-Fi campus including hostels. Department having smart classrooms, conference hall, lecture hall, and lab. Then the department provides a library with syllabus based text and also a central library (approximately 2 Lacs text are available ). Adding to these online journals and textbooks is available to the students.
Faculty: Well qualified and experienced teaching faculty members in our department. They basically complete the syllabus by lecturing, through seminars, assignments, and PPT presentations. And also extracurricular activities during the course. The course makes the students industry-ready.
Other: The campus life is a platform for the students to be part of so many festivals and arts programs. As same students are coordinator's and there is a chance to be molded. You can manage people and take environment-friendly decisions.
