Review of School of Management, Presidency University, Bangalore.
Placements: My college provides internships. I received a stipend of Rs. 5000. During my internship training, I learned the processes of all departments. In my college, more than 50% of students are placed, with around 60% of companies visiting the campus. Some reputed companies include ACC, EY, Accenture, KPMG, Naukri.com, Federal Bank, Axis Bank, Thomson Reuters, Just Dial, and Flipkart. They offered packages from Rs. 3,00,000 - Rs. 5,00,000. They provide excellent placement opportunities in large companies like KPMG, InfoEdge, Bose, Abbott, etc.
Infrastructure: The course structure of the management program in my college is very well integrated, covering subjects including managerial, administrative, and leadership aspects like Accounting for Managers and Entrepreneurship. The hostel facilities in our college are very good, with two students sharing a room with an attached bathroom. The PG rent is around Rs. 2500 per month. In the mess, we receive food based on our needs. Our PG has 24-hour security and CCTV coverage. In my opinion, the hostel facilities and the mess food are good.
Faculty: We mean the knowledge and skills that students are expected to acquire upon completing the program. Assessable outcomes should specify what students can do to demonstrate their learning. Assessments align the curriculum to support opportunities for students to develop knowledge for each program. Faculty need to have a specific plan in place for assessing each outcome. Students who are enrolled in a programme should be fully aware of the expectations of the programme. Select the college whichever college you want, then in the right section, you'll find a link called courses offered. Full name and titles of instructor.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2027

It is not for everybody. Student input is not appreciated or even required for authority.
Placements: Very few students got placed in my senior batches. The placements are with below average companies, paid negligible amounts. The university does not help much with internships. Students when in 2nd year are required to join one. The time or compensation for internships is not given, only summer vacation that consists of 2 months is the only time.
Infrastructure: The only good thing about the college is the infrastructure. Facilities like library, canteens, sitting areas in park, and sports grounds are provided. The food in the hostel canteen is average. Some clubs actively participate. Not much to explore around the university.
Faculty: Teachers are great. Faculty members are pretty strict. The exams are easy to pass with cramming. The curriculum contains many short courses and subjects. But the practicality of the courses is near to none. The authority is not much qualified. They are super rude and do not appreciate students' feedback. So it's mostly hierarchy.
Other: Networking is pretty easy to do at this university. The rules are super strict and practical about uniforms and dress code. Formal dress code is being followed. But every single day which is super practical as companies like Google, Microsoft, and Big Four don't even have a dress code for everyday except for important meetings and events. The crowd in my batch personally is also average. Very few people seem to be qualified to do a university course.

Discontinued (May 2023)- BBA in E-Commerce and Supply Chain Management - Batch of 2025

Bad faculty members and good infrastructure.
Placements: At our college, you can start getting placed from your last semester. The placement drive is awesome, with over 150 companies coming in. Packages range from 3 LPA to 7 LPA, and around 70-80% of students land jobs. Roles offered are various, including HR, customs, and business development.
Infrastructure: The university infrastructure is impressive, with excellent Wi-Fi and three well-equipped libraries accessible to all students. Classrooms are huge and spacious. However, the hostel life is less appealing, with reports of bad food, small rooms, a scary atmosphere at night, and limited freedom.
Faculty: The teachers here have mixed qualifications. Some are great and really know their stuff, making classes interesting. However, there are also a few who aren't good at teaching and sometimes even teach subjects they're not familiar with. It makes learning pretty inconsistent. The course curriculum is quite relevant and helps with practical skills. My parents really pushed me to take this course, thinking it's valuable. Subjects like PPS are super helpful, but some subjects feel useless and repetitive.

BBA in Business Analytics - Batch of 2026

All about Presidency University.
Placements: I don't have the exact number but the placements are very low. The highest package is 7 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Accenture and TCS are some top recruiters. 70-80% of students got internships. Business development, business analyst, marketing analyst, etc. are top roles offered.
Infrastructure: There are classrooms, libraries, and labs for our course. Classrooms are a bit small but library has a wide range of books and literature available. There are labs for practical subjects in our course such as data analytics, machine learning, visual analytics, etc. Hostel quality is really good. The food is very good. There are 24/7 medical facilities available. There are sports facilities in the hostel such as table tennis, basketball, football, etc. However, the hostel is situated in a very secluded place and is very difficult to commute. There are some very useless rules in the hostel.
Faculty: Maximum teachers who taught me were qualified and they were Ph.D. level. They have good knowledge of the subject and are unique but teaching methods are good. Curriculum is relevant except for one subject we are made to study EVS in the 4th semester. It makes students ready for the real world if taken carefully and properly. Semester exams are not too easy and not too difficult. It is at a normal level and the pass percentage is very high.
Other: This is a future-proof course and this is the biggest reason I opted for the course. The best thing about my course is that it is more than just business and commerce. We get to learn different software tools and also somewhat in the field of computers. The curriculum can be improved. Events and fests are kind of ok. Campus is way crowded and it's more than the capacity. Connectivity is not so good. Campus surroundings are not good. Scholarships are good. There are plenty of extracurricular activities such as sports, events, etc.

Satisfied with good placements, faculty members, and infrastructure.
Placements: 50-55% of the students were placed in my course. The lowest package is Rs 4 LPA. The highest package is Rs 15 LPA. Wipro is the top recruiting company. Roles offered are junior manager, managing intern, and managing assistant. A lot of students got internships from within the college and permanent jobs as well. It is moderately good.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. Except a few issues in the classroom environment, apart from that there are various outlets of food throughout the huge campus. All types of facilities are available. Medical assistance from Manipal Hospital is also available on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are extremely knowledgeable with certified degrees. Few teachers even have 6-7 degrees. The CHO is very relevant to the course, and semester exams are pretty helpful in determining students achievements. The passing percentage is 80 out of 200, along with internals.
Other: The events and fests of the college are amazing. Renowned actors, comedians, and singers have performed inside the university. A variety of clubs for the students are available to increase their course curriculum.

Dissatisfied with placements and strict rules, but really good infrastructure and campus life.
Placements: Placements are not as good as expected. For BBA, the highest package is 5 LPA, and the lowest is around 3 LPA. Companies like Nestle, Microsoft, Accenture, and Tech Mahindra have recruited many students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our course is very good with all the necessary amenities. I was in the hostel for a year, and the experience was quite good. The food was edible, and amenities like a gym and badminton court were provided. Indoor activities like carrom and chess were also available.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful, and the semester exams are manageable, allowing us to score good marks with a little effort. Yes, this course prepares students for the industry if they take it seriously, and it will help them in many aspects of life in the future.
Other: I opted for BBA (Supply Chain Management) because I want to set up my own business in the import and export field in the future. Campus life is very good at the university, with many festivals and activities happening here.
