Totally worth it, college is easily affordable.
Placements: As this is a highly recognized government college, you can definitely get placements, and you will also be able to learn practical skills as well as theoretical skills here. You will be able to go to the hospital for training and directly serve the patients there.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are really outstanding with sufficient lighting and a cooling system. You will definitely love it. The library is good too. You can borrow any books from the library with a library card, and you can return them whenever you want, as per your choice.
Faculty: The teachers are really good here and supportive too. You can ask them about any doubt without thinking twice. They are really helpful, and their behaviour is just awesome. They can make you comfortable in less time, and you will definitely love them and their teaching.
Other: From childhood, I had only one dream to serve the people, but since I belong to a middle-class family, this college really helped me to achieve and fulfill my dream.

Dissatisfied due to the limited seats for boys in the hostel.
Placements: In Basic B.Sc. nursing, there are 750 government seats in all of Odisha. From these, the top 3 nursing colleges are SCB, MKCG, and VIMSAR, with 150 seats each. The B.Sc. nursing course is of 4 years with 7 semesters, exams every 6 months, and the last 6 months involve an internship. Patients are our priority.
Infrastructure: The College of Nursing Berhampur is authorized by the Indian Nursing Council. Now, the semester is conducted by OUHS. There are 4 classrooms for the four batches, along with 2 practical labs. There are a minimum of 1500 to 2000 books in our library for students. Students have the opportunity to borrow books to gain knowledge. Wi-Fi is available in our college for lecture sessions in the classroom. The girls' hostel has 350 to 400 beds, while the boys' hostel has only 100 beds available. Fresh and properly cooked meals are available in our mess.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified and full of knowledge. The quality of teaching is good. They teach us in the classroom with the help of a projector. After every theory class, a compulsory practical class is held so that students gain maximum knowledge from the classroom. Our college has sufficient faculty for teaching subjects like biochemistry. Semester examinations are very tough and are conducted by OUHS.
Other: I chose nursing as my career because I want to pursue a career in the medical sector. There is equal scope for both boys and girls in the entrance exam. In the NORCET exam, there is an 80% reservation for girls. We are applying for different types of scholarships in the 4-year course.

College of Nursing Berhampur is a good college for the completion of all nursing courses.
Placements: Nowadays, healthcare settings are becoming increasingly progressive, so the requirements of healthcare professionals are also rising so nursing is a good way to get placed after a certain period of study. I enrolled in a basic B.Sc. nursing course, and I'll pass out in the year 2028.
Infrastructure: The college offers a girls' hostel for all course students except post-basic, and in the boys' hostel, there are limited seats for boys. Both the boys' and girls' hostels are well-equipped with Wi-Fi and 24/7 water facilities along with daily cleaning. Also, the lecture theatre and practical labs are well-equipped for the fluent practice of nursing.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Semester exams are held in 6 months a year. By an appropriate reading procedure, one can easily pass semester exams along with practical exams. All the tutors of your college are highly qualified and provide good education.
Other: The college offers 4-5 hours of clinical practice, which is quite good for fast learning of clinical procedures and working efficiently in a clinical setting.
