Seven Islands Maritime Training Institute offers four certificate courses, namely Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS), Graduate Marine Engineering (GME), Electro Technical Officer (ETO), and GP-Ratings (General Purpose Ratings). These certificate courses are provided for the duration of 4 - 12 months. Admission to DNS is based on IMU-CET entrance exam and is affiliated with IMU. On the other hand, admission to all other courses is based on the merit scores. These courses are offered in full-time mode.
