IMU CET cutoff 2026: The Indian Maritime University (IMU) releases the IMU CET 2026 cutoff after the results are declared. The cut off of IMU CET 2026 is the minimum marks that candidates must score to qualify in the exam. The IMU CET cutoff is released in the form of opening and closing ranks. On this page, we have provided IMU CET opening and closing ranks for all three rounds.

IMU CET 2026 Counselling Process
The Indian Maritime University (IMU) conducts IMU Common Entrance Test (CET) counselling online for admission to its 6 campuses. Students must register by paying a non-refundable fee of INR 10,000 online using a debit card/credit card/net banking. Candidates then select their preferred programme and campus for admission through IMU CET.
Shortlisted candidates are called to appear for counselling. The counselling process involves registration, choice filling, seat allotment, verification of documents, and online fee payment. Registration for IMU CET counselling is available online, and university conducts the counselling process in online mode only.
Note that online counselling process does not cover admissions to affiliated institutes. IMU CET counselling takes place in two phases.

Yes, SC/ST candidates get concessions in registration fees, and age relaxation is provided for OBC and SC/ST categories students. Reservations include 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC (non-creamy layer), and 10% for General-EWS. IMU also has a special state reservation scheme
For NCC cadet students, they can get mark concessions: 5% for the 'C' certificate, 3% for the 'B' certificate, and 2% for the 'A' certificate

The University offers Tamil Nadu BC/MBC Scholarship of amount ranging from INR 50,000 to 60,000 and Maritime Training Trust (MTT) scholarship for Indian women seafarers for amount of INR 1,00,000.
Scholarship 2
There is also scholarships to Zilla Kalyan Office, UP amounting INR 50,000 and District Welfare Office, Saharsa, Bihar amounting INR 75,000 and to Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, Dehradun amounting INR 48,000.
Scholarship 3
There is also OBC Post matric Scholarship, Govt. of Kerala amounting INR 1,00,000 and OEC (other eligibility candidates), Scholarship Govt of Kerala amounting INR 1,00,000 and OBC Post matric Scholarship, Govt. of Bihar amounting INR 10,000.

The University offers Winnie sun's Scholarship Gurgaon, Haryana State amounting INR 65,000 and Endowment/Scholarship for SC/ST students by

As per IMUCET eligibility criteria, the age limit for students applying for B.Tech, B.Sc, B.B.A and DNS courses is below -
Minimum age: 17 years
Maximum age:
For Male: General - 25 years, OBC (NCL)-28 years, SC/ST-30 years
For Female: General - 27 years, OBC (NCL)-30 years, SC/ST-32 years.
No age limit for students from M.tech, M.B.A. and M.Sc program
For PG graduate Diploma course in Marine Engineering -
Maximum age : Male : For General-28 years OBC (NCL)-31 years SC/ST-33 years.
Female : For General-30 years OBC (NCL)-33 years SC/ST-35 years

The exam body will releases the IMU CET 2026 cut-off after the results are declared. The IMU CET cutoff is available for six IMU campuses. Other colleges that accept IMU courses do not participate in any centralised counselling process.
