Good Infrastructure and less fees.
Placements: If you are talking about placements for our batch and our seniors batch then I can proudly say that I was totally null. None of batchmates and seniors were placed through college. And in history None of the students got internship from college and they didn't pay any stipend to anyone.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, Classrooms, library, Medical Facility and Sport available in the campus. Good quality of classroom and labs. Quality of food is not good not bad literally you can it is okay. There is not hostel facility. Actually I didn't face any infrastructure related issues but now there are lack of faculty in each n every department. Labs are good but they don't provide any practical.
Faculty: There are many teachers during my academic and all are very qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was too good, they sometimes probably using smart class and all. The ratio of student and teacher was 10:1. In 2013 to 2017, None of them got any industry exposure.
Other: Many cultural activity like Games, quiz, events and extracurricular activities etc. They organize time to time.

S.G.B.M.- Better than the best.
Placements: We are 40 students in the 2012-16 batch and our seniors were 25 in number who passed out in 2015. Overall 65 % students were placed in the year 2016 and some were planning to do their masters. The average salary is 1.45 lakhs per annum. Companies like E-clinic Works recruited the students. The role offered by the companies for the students is of a software developer.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure has two buildings, first is the main building and the other is MBA building (under construction). Junior and senior students' classes are on different floors. Every floor of the building is covered by security cameras. The library of the college has two parts- first one is the digital library and another part is full of bookshelves. S.G.B.M. organizes techfest (is a combo of cultural and technical sport and gaming ) every year during the summer session and also takes part in inter-college sports or university level sports.
S.G.B.M.I.T.S. has a workshop which is the biggest amongst all engineering colleges in Jabalpur. The college has a chemistry lab, physics lab, mechanical lab, electrical lab, electronics lab, computer lab, civil lab, and mechanics lab. Each department has its own 3-4 labs.
Electronics and communication & computer science department have more than 6 well-equipped labs. Each lab has more than 2 lab attendants. The computer science department is equipped with high-speed leased line and the whole campus is covered with high-speed Wi-Fi routers. S.G.B.M.I.T.S. has a medical officer. The canteen serves good quality Indian food at the lowest price. The college didn't have their own hostel facility and they didn't force any student for any specific hostel. The faculty members are friendly with students. S.G.B.M.I.T.S. has a training and placement cell.
Faculty: The faculty is friendly and supporting in nature. All the faculty members of the college are pursuing or have completed a masters degree in their field. The principal of the college is double Ph.D. with a doctorate in physics and the dean also has a Ph.D. degree in physics. Some of them have submitted their research papers in IEEE.
Other: The college loses their reputation due to some internal interference in owner family and by brokers. In 2012 S.G.B.M.I.T.S. had top ranking in counseling. Students who are thinking about studying in low strength classrooms with concentration and attention of the faculty members, then S.G.B.M. is the best for them.

Other: It is affiliated to GGSIPU and a very good college for MBA. The teachers are very experienced and supportive. The college conducts regular seminars to groom students and enhance their knowledge. Also, personality development sessions are also conducted for students which help them in the placements.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty.
Placements: Around 3 out of 100 students got placed in this college. Very few students got internships at this college. The education quality in this college is not good. A degree from this institute has no value.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel, and you have to go for a PG. There is no Wi-Fi for students. The library is not available every day. You have to visit many times to borrow books.
Faculty: Faculty members are average. They are confused about the subjects. You have to do self-study. This college is the worst for toppers or merit students.
Other: I don't recommend this college.

SGBM Institute of Technology and Science (SGBMITS) has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| MBA/PGDM | Candidate must have completed Graduation with mentioned percentage in aggregate of any UGC/AICTE approved Indian University or from a foreign University recognised by AIU or Institute recognised by the concerned University as equivalent thereto. The mentioned SC/ST percentage is for Madhya Pradesh residents. Candidates belonging to OBC (excluding creamy layer) categories of Madhya Pradesh can apply with at least 45%. The Bachelor's degree must be of minimum three years duration after passing Higher Secondary (10+2) examination of (10+2) system or equivalent. Candidates in the Final year of above degree examinations can also apply on provisional basis. Candidate who has passed qualifying examination with grace marks are also eligible for admission. Candidates whose qualifying examination marksheet are based on grading system has to produce conversion of grade to marks. |
