Placements: Shanmuganathan Engineering College has a good reputation for placements. They attract a wide range of companies, and students often secure placements in reputed organizations such as TCS, HCL, TVS, YAMAHA, IBM, etc. The highest salary package is 14 LPA, while the lowest salary package is 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: Shanmuganathan Engineering College's environment and infrastructure are very impressive. There are more new technology labs, and the library is available for this college. The hostel rooms are more comfortable for all students, and a variety of foods are available in the college mess, maintaining high hygiene standards.
Faculty: Shanmuganathan Engineering College's faculty members are talented and friendly individuals. They teach very well and conduct industry visit programs every semester. They also teach some additional computer courses, which are very helpful to all students.
Other: The college management conducts more events every month. They provide more scholarships to good students. This college offers more than 14 courses. Overall, it is a good college.

Placement is unsatisfying, but the degree is satisfactory.
Placements: 10 to 12 only in training institutes; they only give opportunity for training institutes, get commission, and post on social media only to show off placements of students, but the reality in the training center does not provide better training. We only focus on our growth. Below 1 lakh per annum, we pay nothing selflessly and go for an internship. Full sack only.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is poor; only one or two members benefit among the 5 on the bench. The hostel is only safe because it is inside the college, but the canteen and other facilities are not 100 percent comfortable. Sports also conduct and pick students for prizes only on sports day for formality, without giving or providing any skills in sports.
Faculty: Teachers are average. Only assistant professors and housewives, after completing the ME, get hired. Nothing, no, because of the old syllabus and the rush to students only. There’s no practical, middle of things, semester exams are very tough to moderate, but the evaluation is poor. A moderate 50% is a pass percentage.
Other: I opted for this course because it provides good computer knowledge. A small experience that people get benefits from this course Symposium, but the event is organized only by students, with a crowd of 700 to 800, which is not good. Singing on the annual day is also conducted for formality, not for students' happy memories.
