Admissions to SRCOE appear pretty competitive. As the competitiveness level varies with the following factors1. Entrance Exam performance: SRCOE primarily uses performance in entrance exams-MHT-CET and JEE Main for students seeking admission in B.E./B.Tech programs. Thus, it is how well you have performed in entrance exams that will mark the prospects of getting into this college.- The scope of getting into your main desired branch of engineering will increase with a good rank in the entrance exams. 2. Merit Based Admission: - The admissions process is fully merit-based which follows cutoffs based on the number of students and cutoffs. Cutoffs can be different every year based on the number of applicants and cutoff scores. 3. Availability of Seats:-The availability in your preferred branch may also dictate the level of competition. Some branches such as Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering would generally have a relatively higher cut-off.4. Management Quota: -There is another management quota, which provides students another route for admission, but this does indeed come with a premium fee. As much as there is systematization of the admission process and conformance to standard norms, getting into the institute can be easier if one better prepares for the entrance exams and meets the cutoff criteria.
