It is a good college for IT students with friendly teachers and a nice campus life.
Placements: Around 70 to 75 percent of students from my batch get placed through campus placements. The highest package offered is around 6 LPA, the average is around 3.5 LPA, and the lowest is close to 2 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies include TCS, L&T, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys. Many students also get internships in reputed firms during their final year, mostly through college connections and fairs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the BSc IT course is quite good. Classrooms are clean, spacious. They have projectors for presentations. Computer labs are equipped with updated systems. They have internet access for coding and practical work. The library has a good collection of IT- related books. They provides a peaceful environment for study.
Faculty: Faculty for BSc IT is knowledgeable and supportive. Most teachers explain concepts clearly and are approachable for doubts. Practical learning is given importance through projects and lab work. The curriculum is updated as per university guidelines and covers programming, networking, database, and web development, which helps in industry readiness.
Other: I chose DSCIT because I always been interested in coding and technology. The course provides a good mix of theory and practical learning. Subjects like programming, web development, and networking that build strong technical skills. The campus environment is friendly. Teachers are approachable.
