Scholarships are provided by Shri Shivaji Law College in Kandhar to deserving and impoverished students. For economically challenged students the Shri Shivaji Mofut Education Society offers free books, lodging, and boarding, which can cover a sizable portion of expenses. For qualified students government scholarships for SC, ST, and OBC groups like Maharashtra's Post-Matric Scholarship can pay up to 100% of tuition costs (INR 66,850 for an LL.B.). These scholarships need proof of income and caste. High academic achievers can apply for merit-based scholarships albeit there are few specifics regarding the requirements and award amounts.

Since it is the main need for centralized counseling under Maharashtra's CET Cell, admission to the LL.B. programme at Shri Shivaji Law College, Kandhar, usually requires a valid MH CET Law score for merit-based seats. However, management quota seats, which are exempt from the MH CET Law, allow for direct admission. A bachelor's degree with 45% of the possible points is required of candidates (42% for OBC, 40% for SC/ST). Apply straight from the college website, send in your paperwork, then show up for an interview. There are fewer management quota seats available, therefore the cost is higher.
