MH CET Law Exam is held by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell for admission to 3-year and 5-year LLB courses. The MH CET Law 2026 Application Dates Notification has been released. The State Council has extended the MH CET Law 3-year & 5-yr LLB Application Process Deadline. Candidates can now fill the application form until February 13, 2026 & February 14, 2026 respectively. The MH CET 2026 Application Process is completely online.

Q:   What is the reporting time to reach the MH CET Law exam centre for the MH CET Law 2026 exam?
A:

The reporting time for the MHCET Law exam will be different for both the shifts. It is not yet out, however, the candidates will be required to reach the examination hall as per the time mentioned on the admit card. The hall ticket will be issued to the registered candidates online. Use the login credentials creating during the registration to access the admit card.

A:

You can find the MH CET Law exam dates and other important dates on the official website of CET Cell Maharashtra,  cetcell.mahacet.org. The important dates related to the exam can be found on one of the following two place: 

  • 5-year LLB / 3-year LLB tab available on the website's homepage
  • Under the "Notifications" section of the website's homepage.  

The MH CET Law dates are subject to change. Thus, candidates always need to check MH CET Law dates to track changes in the exam date, and dates related to MH CET Law registrations, release of admit card, result, release of seat allotment lists and counselling.

The MH CET Law 2026 notification was released on cetcell.mahacet.org. The MH CET Law 5-year LLB exam 2026 will be held on May 8, 2026. The Law CET exam date 2026 for 3-year LLB is April 1 and April 2, 2026. Candidates must note that the application form for both courses needs to be filled out separately. The MHCET Law Exam 2026 will be held in online mode for both 3-year & 5-year LLB courses.

Q:   Can I take mobile phone on MHCET Law Exam Day?
A:

No. The candidates will not be allowed to carry their mobile phone to the MH CET LAW exam centre. The authorities will not allow the candidates to bring their electronic devices inside the centres. Some of the electronic devices that are not allowed in the MHCET Law centre. If the candidates are found using any electronic device inside the centre, then they will be disqualified.

MHCET Law 2026 Application Process

The authority will release the application form for Maharashtra CET Law online. The application process is registration, form filling, uploading signature & photo, and payment of fees.  The instructions to fill the  MHT CET application form are mentioned below:

  • Visit the CET Cell Maharashtra, cetcell.mahacet.org 
  • Click on the “CET Exam Portal 2026-27” tab. 
  • Click on the course tab (select the tab for the course for which you want to fill out the application form). 
  • Register yourself if you have not registered for the exam yet.
  • Enter your details and permanent address-related details, and your email ID and mobile number for registration. 
  • Generate a password
  • Enter the security code to complete the registration process. 
  • Now login again using your application number and password. 
  • Upload your passport size picture and a scanned copy of your signature. 
  • Pay the application fee, save and submit the application.

MH CET Law 2026 Eligibility Criteria 

The MH CET Cell defines the eligibility criteria for both 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB courses. Candidates must fulfil MH CET Law 2026 eligibility criteria to avoid any trouble and to be selected for admission through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP).

Academic Qualification Class 12th or equivalent qualification 3-year graduation degree 
Minimum Marks Requirement 45% marks but if belonging to SC/ST category of Maharashtra State then 40% marks, and if belonging to VJNT, SBC and OBC category of Maharashtra State then 42% marks in aggregate.  45% marks but if belonging to SC/ST category of Maharashtra State then 40% marks, and if belonging to VJNT, SBC and OBC category of Maharashtra State then 42% marks in aggregate. 
Age Limit

20 years for General/Open Category Candidates
