The Maharashtra CET cell has started the MH CET Law counselling process for the 3-yr LLB courses. Candidates can complete the MH CET 3-year LLB CAP Counselling Registration until June 30, 2026. Candidates will have to visit cetcell.mahacet.org to complete the registration. The MH CET Counselling Process 2026 will be conducted separately for 3-year and 5-year LLB courses. Candidates must complete the registration, document upload, and e-scrutiny process by the deadline to be considered for the CAP merit list. MH CET 3-Year LLB 2026 Counselling Process 2026
The Maharashtra LAWCET counselling is conducted through a Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Candidates have to register online and get their document verification done to be eligible for admission to the college. The choice filling process to select the colleges of preference for admission can also be exercised during the MHCET Law 3-year Counselling process 2026. Thereafter, the admission cell releases a seat allocation list, and selected candidates will have to report to their allocated college for confirmation of the seat.
During the counselling process, candidates have the option to ‘Freeze’ or ‘Float’ their choices.
- Float option- If candidates are not satisfied with the allotted colleges, they can choose the ‘Float’ option. Candidates exercising this option are eligible to appear in the subsequent counselling rounds. In case they are not offered seats, they can choose the previously allotted college.
- Freeze option- Candidates can exercise the ‘Freeze’ option to confirm their allotment, and if they do not want to participate in the further counselling rounds. They will accept the allotted college and pay the admission fee. Such candidates will not be considered for further counselling rounds.

- Register as a new candidate by filling the required details for MH CET Law counselling process
