Sir M.V. School of Architecture Course Admissions 2025: Fees, Eligibility, Dates & Application Process

Sir M.V. School of Architecture offers three UG courses with a total 100 seats available for the programmes. Find below the course-wise seat bifurcation for at Sir M.V. School of Architecture:

• BArch: 40 seats
• BDes: 30 seats
• BPlan: 30 seats

To join BDes at Sir M.V. School of Architecture, candidates must meet the basic educational requirements of the programme. Students who passed Class 12 from a recognised board are eligible to apply for direct admission to BDes at Sir M.V. School of Architecture.

Admission to some of the UG courses at Sir M.V. School of Architecture is merit-based. Candidates can seek direct admision to BDes and BPlan courses at the college. For these programme, students are admitted directly based on their past academic merit of Class 12.

Sir M.V. School of Architecture offers full-time UG courses in the field of Architecture and Design, namely BArch, BDes and BPlan. However, BArch is the flagship course of the college. This course is approved by the Council of Architecture, (CoA), Govt. of Karnataka and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.

The institute has opened its application portal for the academic batch of 2025. Therefore, candidates who qualify for the basic eligibility criteria according to the BArch course can apply for the course and fill out the further application form for the course through the official website of the Sir M.V. School of Architecture.

The essential eligibility requirement for admissions to the BArch course at Sir M.V. School of Architecture is candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved category candidates). Moreover, candidates who have completed a Diploma after Class 12 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% can also apply. 

For the selection process, Sir M.V. School of Architecture accepts the relevant scores of KCET/ NATA/ COMEDK. In addition, the institute also offers seats through management quota, according to the guidelines by VTU.  

At the time of filling out the application form for the BArch course at Sir M.V. School of Architecture, and at the time of appearing at the institute. Candidates are required to upload a soft copy of documents or might need to submit a hard copy of some of the documents at Sir M.V. School of Architecture's campus. The institute offers a Bachelor's in Architecture course with the affiliation of Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. The eligibility requirement for admission to the BArch course is that the candidate must complete their Class 12 in PCM/Diploma after Class 12, and that diploma must have mathematics as a subject.
