Review of Soniya Gandhi Polytechnic.
Placements: There is a high percentage of placements in our college i.e.., around 85.6%. The highest salary offered in our college is Rs. 20,000 per month. There are many recruitment companies for our course. About 70% of students got internships from our college. Only 6-8% of the students were placed from our batch. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. L&T Construction, Ghai Constructions, etc., visit the campus. Almost 20-25% of the students got internships in SJ Construction Pvt., Ltd., and Ghai Construction. Site supervision, accounting, etc., are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: Our college has an excellent central library stocked with 25,000 books, 26 Periodicals, 7 Newspapers, 7 Magazines, reference books, reference tools, CDS, and DVDs covering all departments of engineering. It also has a spacious reading room with a capacity of 100 students.
Faculty: It is an autonomous college, and it provides the best syllabus. Teachers are helpful in the civil department and they are highly educated. Their teaching is the best, and they solve problems well. The curriculum is good as it more focuses on practicals, which is good for our course. Exams conducted here are difficult, which test the knowledge of every student.
Other: Events like days celebrations and gatherings are organised.
