B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2027

It is one of the top engineering colleges with good placements in Indore.
Placements: We have around 60 students in our batch. Around 85% of students get the opportunity for internships in top technology companies. The average package offered to the previous batch was 5.5 LPA, with 12 LPA being the highest package offered and 3.2 LPA being the lowest in the 2024 placement year.
Infrastructure: Facilities at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology are as follows, we have Wi-Fi in the whole campus, an Intel lab for the EC department, and digital boards in all classrooms. Our library is equipped with around 30,000 books, and we have a turf and a basketball complex.
Faculty: Teachers are Ph.D. holders, and the overall quality of teaching is very practical. The course curriculum is aligned with the latest technological advancements, which makes us industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult because the faculty teaches us properly, clearing all our doubts.
Other: I chose this course because I have a keen interest in doing things related to electronics. The name of this college is very popular in Madhya Pradesh.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2024

1Placements1Infrastructure1Faculty1Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
The faculty is poor, the infrastructure is bad, not worth the money, small campus, no sports zone.
Placements: 50% to 80% of the candidates were placed. The highest placement is 11 LPA. And the lowest is 1.8 LPA. TCS Internships are not given by colleges but only by TCS. There is a low chance of placement and zero knowledge of internships, and the college professionals didn't help with anything.
Infrastructure: I was extremely disappointed with the infrastructure and hostel life at this college. Classrooms were outdated with broken furniture and inadequate lighting. The laboratory equipment was ancient, making it difficult to conduct experiments. The hostel facilities were equally unimpressive. The rooms were cramped, with broken beds and inadequate storage space. The bathrooms were dirty, with leaky faucets and no hot water. The food in the mess was unpalatable, with a limited menu that never changed. The worst part was the lack of maintenance. The college seemed to have given up on upkeep, with a broken elevator, leaky roof, and overgrown areas.
Faculty: They were not helpful at all. Though they were qualified, they were not sought for guidance. They just did their work and left. The course was good, but I didn't depend on the college so I did it myself. The semester exams were not too difficult if you studied, but they were not easy.

My point of view about our college.
Placements: Our college has a placement department they help us with on-campus placements. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA, which is decent. No MNCs visit our college. We are enhancing our skills to secure internship, and we hope we will grab it next year.
Infrastructure: Our college classrooms are good. There are no complaints about the infrastructure because they are the best. Library is very interesting with lots of books. We can study the books related to our course and explore other streams as well. But they use old edition books. Most of the computers are in poor condition in the computer lab, which is very problematic during studies.
Faculty: Faculty members are teaching well and giving their best as they are highly qualified. Before MSTs and exams, they give assignments and we can't handle it. It is so much of burden during preparations. Course is good, similar to other colleges. There is one more criteria to give an exam, that is 75% attendance.
Other: There is no competition in our college, as most students are not focusing on their skills other than studies.

An enriching campus experience in academics, community, and beyond.
Placements: I am a 3rd-year B.Tech Computer Science student. In our course, around 85% of students have been placed. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Amazon. Nearly 70% of students secured internships in companies like Microsoft, Google, and startups. The most offered roles are software developer, data analyst, and cloud engineer. Our course provides excellent opportunities for career growth with strong industry connections.
Infrastructure: Facilities like classrooms, library and labs are well settled in our college. It provides the best environment for students. Hostel facilities are very good, and quality of food is excellent. Medical facilities are also very good. If a studnet feels sick, he/she can have medicine as we have hospital facility and transportation is also available. All the facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very experienced and have a lot of knowledge. Their teaching quality is excellent. It prepares students for industry work. Semester exams are not difficult if students attend college regularly and focus on their studies. Students will pass with more than 30 marks.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) - Batch of 2028

Absolutely value for money. Fees are affordable.
Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed last year. The highest package of the college had been gone to 36 LPA, but the average package is around 5 to 6 LPA. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA. The top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, HCL Tech, Teach for India, Mahindra, etc. The college provides internships in every branch, but one needs to clear it, like the TCS internship programme, Microsoft program, etc. The top roles in my field are AI engineer, data scientist, ml engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are quite back and clean. The campus consists of Wi-Fi labs and a huge library which consists of almost every type of book. Also, there are many digital features like an advanced attendance system. There are 2 to 3 different canteens and food shops around the whole campus which have different kinds of food. Overall, it tastes very good. There are many options for healthy as well as fast food. There are many facilities like sports stars and games.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching is overall very good. The curriculum is very relevant and it follows the RGPV, the latest curriculum. The college also provides various webinars and hackathon seminars. The college provides also many certification courses from AWS and Cisco, which are industrial relevant. The difficult part is just the assignments and practical work, given it was too much.
Other: I had chosen the AIML course because I think there is more future in this. Talking about the improvements that cases need to make, it is to update their lab systems. They often also need to update their good thing about the college is that it provides bus facilities for Indore and also for nearby cities.

Great college if you look at the feel, providing a base for your Software Engineering degree.
Placements: Approximately 15-20% of students get placed in my course. In my college, last year, the highest package was 6.5 LPA and the lowest was maybe 3 LPA. The average package would be around 3.2 LPA. There's no such company which I can say was the top recruiter. All companies have picked around 3-4 students each. No, there's no internship scheme as such from my college. Web development roles are offered the most.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the department that my college lacks. There's no Wi-Fi for students, classrooms, or libraries, and the technical provisions are also not in great condition. There's no hostel scheme from our college, hence no mess. The canteen is really good, and the sitting and eating area is also great in condition. The medical facility is also top-notch, as Aurobindo Hospital is near. Our college does not have any systematic scheme for sports or games and also no focus on the development of sports personalities, but the college has one cricket turf, one basketball court, and one badminton court.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and qualified, but they also lack industry-level training techniques, and that's why there's a slight concern about the teaching quality. No, the course is not 100% relevant. It is relevant around only 50-60%, and it doesn't make us industry-ready. The semester exams are not that tough for the students who actually study, and the pass percentage is maybe around 70-80%.
Other: I chose this course because of its immeasurable scope. The course is changing rapidly, and hence I hope it'll be as per industry standards. The college organizes several fests and events. The campus is not so crowded, and student-to-student and student-to-faculty connectivity is great. There's no such scholarship scheme or extracurricular activities from my college.
