The only drawback as a mechanical student is that only a few core companies came for the campus interview and take only a few students.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Business System - Batch of 2026

It is good for placements. 100 percent of students get placed in CTS, TCS, etc.
Placements: My college provides very good placements, and it is 100 percent. The package offered ranges from 3-6 LPA. Students get placed in companies like CTS, TCS, etc. In the final year, it is compulsory to do internships in the B.Tech. in Computer Science and Business System course.
Infrastructure: It has very good classrooms. The atmosphere and hostel are very good. There is a 24-hour Wi-Fi facility in my college. The hostel facility is also available in my college. For any emergency, a doctor is also available at my college. Every year, it conducts sports events, like kho-kho, kabaddi, and volleyball, in the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly. They are qualified and knowledgeable in SMVEC. They conduct industrial visits for first-year students. Monthly, they conduct the CAT test to improve students' knowledge. The pass percentage is above 95 percent in my college. The main focus of teachers is on technical knowledge development in students.
Other: Every year, festivals and sports events are held.

BOOBion to study to make the world yours with intelligence and knowledge.
Placements: 80% of students are placed. The highest is 16.5 LPA, the lowest is 1.5 LPA, and the average is 3.5 LPA. Companies include Zoho, TCS, Infosys, CTS, Kaar Technology, and Content Sack. Students got internships at Society General, Kaar Teach, TCS, Infosys, etc. 60 to 80% of students got internships. Top roles offered include Software Engineer, Data Analysis, HR, etc.
Infrastructure: It will be a good infrastructure with good airflow and positive views. Wi-Fi is available in every lab, making it easy for us to access and learn. The quality of the hostel is good and clean, but there are fewer restrooms. In fact, they are building a new hostel with a gym and more restrooms, which will be good to stay in.
Faculty: Teachers are more helpful and friendly in teaching and practical activities. They are eager to guide us and show us a good path, in which we participated with confidence and won many prizes. The course is relevant and prepares students for real-world scenarios, which are more relevant to our daily lives.
Other: I chose CSE because I like to work on code and understand how back-end systems run. This course is the backbone of all other courses. Additional topics like AI are being added, which is a boon now.

It is not highly recommended.
Placements: Currently, in 2026, the highest package offered is 18 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like CTS, Wipro, TCS, Codeyoung, etc., hire students. Internships are self-based, so students should apply for internships, which is the worst part. Roles like marketing, HR, sales, etc., are offered to students.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi, and only Ethernet is available in labs. Mobiles are strictly prohibited, and if caught, they will not return them as we are not allowed to use or bring mobiles to college. The business studies department only has these strict rules, even though it's 2026, and still, they do not allow mobile phones.
Faculty: Faculty members are okay. Most of them have good communication and knowledge related to the course. Some teachers do not even know how to pronounce perfect, and they say furfect. Staff members say we will be friendly with students, but I suggest students do not believe them, as they won't. Only a few of them are friendly.

It has good infrastructure and a very high rate of placements with good packages.
Placements: I am from the 2022-2026 batch. About 85 percent of students got placed, which is very good compared to other colleges around India. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 3.5 LPA. The average package offered ranges between 4-5 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Cognizant and Hexaware. The top role offered in my course is ML engineer. Internships are very low, as 20-30 percent of students get internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great and well-maintained. Wi-Fi is available everywhere. There are many labs around the campus with great machines. The quality of food at the hostel is good. Sports are fine too. There are 2 hostels for boys, 1 for girls, and another hostel is in development. There are 4 canteens with a great variety of food.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful to students who are in need. Their teaching quality is great. The course curriculum is framed very relevantly, and they update it regularly. Semester exams are really easy if we study on average. It is very great.
Other: I recommend students join this college if they want good placements and knowledge.

Teachers are not that knowledgeable.
Placements: Actually, our college placement drive is very much real, and it helps skilled persons to get hired. The top recruiters of my college are TCS and CTS. In my college, the department of artificial intelligence and data science is very good in terms of placements.
Infrastructure: The college has decent infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms, laboratories and Wi-Fi facilities across the campus. The computer labs are updated and provide a good environment for practical learning, and the library is spacious with a wide range of books.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are knowledgeable and approachable, but some of the professors are not that knowledgeable, in my opinion. The college should be concerned about this and improve it to provide good, knowledgeable teachers. The pass percentage is mostly positive.
Other: I chose this course because I am a person who loves to combine technical studies and management studies. For me, this course is very close to my heart, so I chose it.
