B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science - Batch of 2027
3.4

Good placements, supportive faculty, and industry-relevant curriculum in AI and data science.
Placements: Around 70 percent of students in the AIDS course got placed. The highest package is 8 LPA the lowest is 3 LPA and the average is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant and a few AI startups. Nearly 60 percent of students secured internships in AI, data analytics, and cloud-based companies. Roles offered included data analyst, AI/ML engineer, python developer, and business analyst. Placement cell provided training, aptitude sessions, and mock interviews, making the overall placement record above average and helpful for students entering the industry.
Infrastructure: AIDS department has smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, and modern computer labs with AI/ML tools. Library offers both physical and digital resources. Hostels are clean, safe, and provide 24X7 water and power. Mess food is hygienic with veg and non-veg options, though the taste can improve. Medical support, sports grounds, indoor games, and canteen facilities are available, overall, the infrastructure supports academics, projects, and extracurricular activities, creating a good learning and living environment for students.
Faculty: Faculty members in the AIDS department are knowledgeable, supportive, and approachable, with many holding higher qualifications and research experience. Teaching quality is good, with a focus on practical learning through projects and labs. Curriculum is updated with subjects like AI, ML, data analytics, and cloud, making it industry-relevant. Semester exams are moderately difficult, testing both theoretical and practical understanding, but with proper preparation, most students perform well. The pass percentage generally remains high, around 85-90%, and continuous assessment helps students stay prepared throughout the semester.
Other: I chose the AIDS course because of my strong interest in artificial intelligence, data science, and their career opportunities. The best part of the course is the industry-relevant curriculum with practical labs and projects that build real-world skills. I wish there were more tie-ups with core companies and advanced workshops. Campus has a friendly crowd, good connectivity, and regular cultural and technical fests that encourage student participation. Extracurricular activities, sports, and scholarships also support overall development. Environment is vibrant and motivating, though more industry exposure would make the course even better.

It is a great place to learn and enjoy.
Placements: Mostly, all of my seniors got placed but after placing in a company they did not go because of the low salary. Some students opt for higher studies. Students get placements in our college with a maximum package of 6 LPA and the minimum package is 1.5 LPA. They are giving training for placements.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms have smart boards and each department has separate labs. There are also computer labs in each department. There is also a hostel facility with the attached mess. The food in the mess is great. Our college also encourages sports and takes us to competitions. There is a separate medical room in our college.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-trained and their way of teaching is very good. They provide all the knowledge they have. They also help us if we need them. The way of teaching is great and understandable. Mostly, the practical work done in the lab is awesome and interesting. Faculty members are helpful in all situations.
Other: Our batch is so friendly. I have got good friends and I have got awesome faculty members.

Review of Achariya College of Engineering Technology.
Placements: 60 to 70% students get placed every year. The highest package is 4.5lakhs per annum and the lowest package is 2 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Capgemini, integral, infosys, whipro. 100% students get internship from CSE course. Software tester and developer roles are offered.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms are well spaced and full of windows. Wi-Fi is also provided in our college. The infrastructure of the college is excellent. Our college doesn't have hostel facility individually. They depend on others for hostel. The mess provides really good food at affordable money.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and well qualified. They have good knowledge in terms of teaching. The teachers train us for the industry work. The semester exams are not too tough. They are easy to pass in. More than 80% students will pass in them. The course is curriculum relevant.

It provides good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Every institute wants to get placed in a company. They don't care about which company. They make sure that tier institutes get placements to show for the sake of publicity. Some local companies can offer placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is not enabled, and mess is average. I would rate 3 out of 5 for food. Sometimes the food is very tasty sometimes it is not good. They provide evening snacks and morning tea. Our college is very well known for sports.
Faculty: Semester exams are not that difficult. If students have knowledge, then they can pass easily. Curriculum has old material, and has not been updated to a new one. Students study previous syllabus as same as our seniors. The pass percentage is 30-35%.
Other: Events and sports are held in this college. They conduct all types of sports, events, and social events.

u201cFrustration at every step, a college experience with full of neglect and mismanagement. u201d.
Placements: There is no enough placements at the college. There is only 30-40 percent of students are get placed every year. The highest package is 4 LPA. There is more posters that these students got placed at top level companies but those are wrong. No internships are provided at the college.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi, no signal at the classroom. Labs are the worst one at the college. It makes the practical session effective. The classrooms are outdated, comfortable seating, etc. There is no maintenance at the campus. At the hostel, the rooms are congested. Bathrooms has broken fixtures.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful at the time we need. They will say and we are the fools. They are really unhelpful in students academic growth. They are unwilling to provide proper guidance. The curriculum is designed very well but the are failures to keep up with the industry trends. The is no scope for research or innovation for the students. Exams are another issue that the question papers are irrelevant topics that were never taught in class.
Other: I came to this college with many dreams but everything is ruined.

It was a okay type experience in that college. But we enjoyed the hostel Life there.
Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed. The highest package maybe 7 LPA and the lowest maybe 2 LPA. IBM, QSPIDERS, AMAZON. Almost every student got the chance to take internship from various companies. Software engineer, software developed, test engineer, sales executive etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for hostel and class were good. Can't say that it's not good. Labs were well furnished with computer and other elements. Sports and games were also on the best level according to their state level and national level competitions. Mess and canteen were available to both hosteller and day scholler.
Faculty: Faculty, curriculum and exams were on there their levels according to the university. Yes this course is very relevant of you want to join IT industry and are interested in this field. Semester exams are not that much difficult to clear it you know some points you can write it in own way.
Other: Because of the demand of software engineer and developed in the IT industry. I wish the way of teaching could be little better than this. Events, fest and campus connectivity of the college were good and appreciateable.
