Strict college but strictness and discipline makes you stronger.

Placements: To be frank, college placement is average; students getting hired by big firms are less. India Smart and Amazon are the top recruiters. If we take the average, nearly 70 to 80% of students from every batch get placed. About the salary package, the highest CTC is 11.8 LPA, the average CTC is 5 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Getting an internship is an easy thing but quality is important. Getting a good internship is tough. Some companies conduct interviews, and after all, no follow-up is sent to candidates.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is inspired by Western architecture and Portuguese architecture. The college environment is very strict; boys and girls can not talk on campus. The college library is good; it is open until 9 p.m. and six days a week. There is no proper drinking water facility on campus; drinking water comes in cans. The hostel fee is 60,000 plus a 5,000 deposit. Mess food is there but frankly, mess food is not good and not hygienic. There is no big canteen on campus, so we can not eat when we are hungry.

Faculty: 50% of teachers are too bad and strict. Our director of management treats us pathetically. If they find a small mistake and find out the language not respectful, not only us but also our parents will get a big lecture. But at the same time, they are very good at teaching. Our MBA course duration is 2 years and 4 semesters. 1 semester has 4-6 subjects and every subject has 5–6 chapters so the curriculum is very big. Semester exams are not very difficult; almost 90% of students pass.

Other: The one thing I mostly like about college is that they give scholarships to students who are very poor and single parent's children.

A higher number of students with good placement records.

Placements: This college arranges both online and offline placements for students. Mostly, they arrange on-campus placements for their students. Nearly 50+ companies approached our college as of 2024 placements. Up to 70% of students were placed in those placements.

Infrastructure: It was really superb infrastructure, with all the facilities. This college is only for engineering students. The laboratories present in our college are maintained properly with air-conditioned rooms. There is a digitalized library with all the facilities.

Faculty: All the teachers present here were highly helpful, motivating, supportive, and knowledgeable. It is a little bit difficult to crack semester examinations, so we need to study harder to clear the examinations. The faculty members present here always focus on practical classes.

Good experience here with nice teachers.

Placements: From the 4th semester on, you should be eligible for your placement. Work hard and attend the campus selection interviews. So many students are getting placed through campus placement; almost 80 percent of students are being placed every year. Right after the degree, I'm planning to start my own enterprise.

Infrastructure: Hostels are just awesome. The hostel are inside the college campus. So you do not have to feel tension about going to classes. Mess food are also good and delicious. It is hygienic and good for our health. Both non-veg and veg are available. In all rooms, there is one bed, one cupboard, one table, one chair, etc. A Wi-Fi facility is also provided to students. The registration process is very easy and it's done at admission time.

Faculty: The course curriculum and faculty are good and the teaching is easy to understand. I took this course because of my interest in business. The faculty-to-student ratio is very excellent. The faculty members are highly qualified and use teaching methods that are easy to understand. Exams are held once in a month like semester-wise and it are easy to pass. Review of Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College - SMVEC.

Placements: Our college has very good placement records. In our college, 60-70% students get successfully placed. The highest placement package offered was 17 LPA. The lowest package offered was 2 LPA. Average offered package was between 2-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies in our course were Icon, Elite Elevators, HCL, etc.

Infrastructure: College has good infrastructure, and it was well-maintained and developed. College has high-speed Wi-Fi, labs, library, spacious classrooms, etc. The quality of facilities offered in our college was good enough. College has not provided any hostel facility. Sports and medical facilities are available in our college.

Faculty: Faculty of our college were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. All the professors in our college were giving their best for the students. Course curriculum followed in our course was relevant. It makes the students job ready. Semester exams in our college were relevant.

I like the faculty members of this college.

Placements: In the 3rd semester, students are eligible to sit for the placement process, and the placement department gives regular training to make them industry-ready by the time they leave the college. Companies come to our campus like Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, and Deloitte, etc. Around 85% of students get placed every year. The average package is around 5-6 LPA, and the highest package is around 22 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostels are Wi-Fi enabled; they have both AC and NON-AC rooms available. All the hostels have basic amenities like a water purifier, a common room, a recreation room, a mess, laundry services, and a security surveillance system. The registration for the hostel is very easy; it is done at admission time, and the rent of the hostel is affordable for students.

Faculty: I am interested in studying business management. This course gives me more confidence too. There are 55 students who are studying in my class. Faculty qualification is good. They are giving effective communication skills. They teach in extraordinary ways. They conduct a monthly cycle test to improve our examination skills, so we easily pass our examination. It is one of the best colleges for an MBA.

Placements: Our college provides good placement opportunities. MNCs visit our college to recruit students. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Reliance, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. Almost 79% of students got placed in our college. They offer good salary packages. The salary package offered is 20 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. The hostel is good. Our campus is good. The hostel has good security. Our college is under CCTV surveillance. The hostel rooms are good and well-cleaned. The hostel staff members are good. The food served in the mess is good. They provide a variety of food items. Our classrooms are smart.

Our college has good faculty members.

Placements: Students start sitting for their summer placements from their 1st semester. Most of them get placed in 10-12 days with the average salary package of 2 LPA for 2 months. Top recruiting companies are Godrej, Tata, Reliance, Flipkart, Accenture, Colgate, etc. They offered more than 250 offers. The highest international salary package offered is 65 LPA. The average salary package offered is 23.71 LPA. Almost 100% of students got placed in our college.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are good. The hostel rooms are well-sophisticated. The food served in the hostel is good. The hostel has strict rules. We should follow the rules. The outing will be provided to buy some things on Sunday from 4 PM - 6 PM. They serve chicken curry and biryani on Monday and Wednesday. The hostel fee is RS. 40,000 per year.

Faculty: Our faculty members are good. A few industry experts come to our college. They teach us. They conduct term-end exams. Exams are not much difficult. Around 180 students can accommodate in each classroom. The course fee is Rs. 1,100,000 per year.

Other: I opted for this course because it is the best course in the country. It has an illusion of history and a great legacy. The alumni base is very important. We read about many benefits of the alumni base during our internships by connecting with many alumni.
