The selected field, applicant competitiveness, and entrance exam results are some of the variables that affect the cutoff scores for admission to Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE) for B.Tech programs. The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling process which takes into account 10+2 exam results particularly in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is the main basis for admissions for students from Tamil Nadu.Popular fields with higher cutoffs, such as mechanical engineering, computer Science and electronics and communication, frequently demand 90% or higher in the prerequisite courses to be admitted. The necessary percentage can be a little lower for branches that are less competitive. For some seats SVCE also accepts JEE Main scores; those with higher rankings stand a better opportunity.

The competition at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering to pursue a B.Tech might be on the higher side, yet it can work out fine. For those candidates with 10+2 min, it will be as follows: a minimum percentage of 45% math, physics, and chemistry for the general category, and 40% in reserved categories. Admissions are strictly done based on merit through the TNEA process. Generally, common cut-off marks are always high. Although the basic eligibility is achievable, getting a seat can prove difficult because of limited availability and demand for popular branches. With overall preparation, admission is achievable for motivated students.
