B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2027

College is good better than other colleges, and also satisfied with infrastructure and placements.
Placements: I am from the 2021-2025 batch of the B.Tech course. Not many companies visit our college for placements, and some companies only recruit female candidates, which limits opportunities for others. However, the placement faculty members are very supportive and always share details of placement drives happening in nearby colleges. Around 40-50 percent of students from our course got placed. The highest package offered is around 6 LPA, the lowest is around 2.5 LPA, and the average package is about 3.2 LPA. Some of the top recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra. Around 30 percent of students got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. The computer lab systems do not always work properly, and sometimes internet connectivity is poor. Classrooms have digital boards, but not all teachers use them effectively. The library is decent, with a good number of books, but it needs better maintenance. Hostel facilities are okay. Rooms are clean but not very spacious. Hostel food is average, edible but lacks variety. The canteen food is slightly better. Medical facilities are available, but not very quickly during emergencies.
Faculty: Some faculty members are really good and explain concepts clearly, while a few others lack experience and mainly rely on slides or tell students to read from digital boards. College uses smartboards and digital learning tools, but the teaching quality depends on the individual faculty. The curriculum is moderately relevant and helps in understanding the basics needed for industry roles, but practical exposure is limited. Semester exams are of medium difficulty. If you attend classes regularly, it's easy to pass. The overall pass percentage in our course is around 85 percent.
Other: Considering the total fees of around 1,10,000 for the entire course including hostel and mess. The college offers average value for money. The teaching and facilities are okay but could be better compared to the fee charged. Placement opportunities are limited, so students often need to search for jobs on their own or through off-campus drives.

Decent college with good placements and infrastructure, but it needs better practical learning.
Placements: Around 70-75 percent of the students in our college got placed through campus placements. The highest package is around 10 LPA - 12 LPA. The lowest package is around 2 LPA - 3 LPA. Average package is around 3 LPA - 4 LPA. TCS is the recruiting company. Roughly 40-50 percent of students got internships through college or external courses.
Infrastructure: Our ECE department has fairly good infrastructure. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors, though not all have smart board. Labs are decently maintained. We have separate labs for our communications systems, microprocessors, VLSI, and digital electronics. Hostel facilities are average. Rooms are shared, usually 2-3 students per room, and kept reasonably clean.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and helpful, though teaching is mostly theory based. Curriculum follows JNTUA University and is moderate industry-oriented. Exams are average difficulty, and around 85-90 percent of students pass with consistent preparation. The semester exams are of medium difficulty.
Other: I am from the 2023-2027 ECE batch. I chose this course for its mixture of hardware and software scope. The best part is hands-on labs and good placement chances. Teaching methods and practical exposure could be improved. Campus is active with fest, clubs, and good connectivity.

Coming to my college, it is the best.
Placements: Placements in our college are the best. The companies like IBM, Accenture, and Deloitte visit the campus. So many companies are hiring students. The highest package is around 10 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. So many students are hired during the placements. More than 50 percent of students are hired in MNCs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is so beautiful that everyone gets attracted to the infrastructure and greenery, mainly. Facilities are so good, and in the college, there are digital classrooms which are advanced now, and the food in the hostel is okay.
Faculty: Teachers are so helpful and so friendly. They keep on motivating us, and they are well qualified. For the semester exams, they are always ready to help, such as by solving doubts and providing explanations. The pass percentage of the students is more than 75 percent.

Good facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: 70 to 75 percent of students got placed. A few went for higher studies or tried off-campus opportunities. The highest package offered is 10 to 12 LPA offered by product-based companies. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA. Average package offered is 4.5 to 5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS and Capgemini.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure in our department but no Wi-Fi. Labs are good, classrooms are average, and library is small compared to neighbouring colleges. Hostel and quality of food are average. Mess and canteen are not so clean. Medical facilities are available on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good, not 100 percent but average. Semester exams are average and easy to write in this college. Pass percentage is 75 percent and around 85 to 90 percent in every semester. Most students clear their exams on the first attempt and arrears are rare unless someone completely skips studying.

Mostly dissatisfied due to fewer placements, but satisfied with campus life.
Placements: I am from the 2021-2025 batch of the B.Tech course. Not many companies visit our college for placements, and some companies only recruit female candidates, which limits opportunities for others. However, the placement faculty members are very supportive and always share details of placement drives happening in nearby colleges.

The college uses smart boards and digital learning tools, but the teaching quality depends on the individual faculty. The curriculum is moderately relevant and helps in understanding the basics needed for industry roles, but practical exposure is limited. Semester exams are of medium difficulty.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in technical subjects and wanted to build a career in engineering. The best thing about the course is the supportive placement team and the availability of digital learning tools. However, I wish the college would improve its lab equipment, increase the number of placement drives, and hire more experienced faculty.
