Beautiful campus and good facilities, teachers are friendly, but exams are a bit tough.
Placements: Our college offered placement to up to 70% of eligible students. Top recruiters include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, HDFC Bank, ICICI, Axis Bank, Deloitte, PwC, etc. The average salary is 3 - 6 lacs per annum and the highest salary recorded is 5.5 (overall) to 10 lakh per annum in B.Com banking and finance.
Infrastructure: There is a vast library provided for the whole campus. Classes are okay and most of the classes have a TV for study purposes. The quality of food in the canteen is amazing. In sports, there is a football team from our college. Medical facilities are available. Wi-Fi is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and committed to their job. They see us as their children. The course at St. Aloysius Elthuruth is helpful and up-to-date. It teaches both theory and real-life skills through projects and training. If students take it seriously, they can be ready for good finance jobs. Semester exams are not easy and it's fairly hard. The pass percentage is about 67-70%.
Other: I chose this course because I didn't have any idea what to choose. No one was there to give me advice. I researched and found our BBA is a good course and went for it. I would suggest practical sessions would be better to understand the course and study anything from it. Events are above average. The campus is so beautiful. It's filled with greenery and trees, and our campus is surrounded by water aka our campus is situated on an island.

Review of St. Aloysius College.
Placements: The placement and job opportunities in this field are enormous. Jobs are available in both the government and private sectors with high salary packages. The college provides on-campus recruitment facilities. The college also provides placement training for the screening process. There are no internships for M.Sc. courses. For M.Tech courses, they provide an Internship as per government rules, with a stipend of Rs.18,000 per month. I didn't get any internship, but the college is good.
Infrastructure: Hostels are available within walking distance. The food and facilities provided for students are good. Inter-hostel tournaments are played every year. Hostels are clean and maintained in good condition. Wi-Fi is also provided by the campus to students, so they can study and improve themselves.
Faculty: Faculty members have all the qualities. Teachers and students share a great bond. It tells the faculty members that no more words need to be explained. Students can contact teachers whenever they want. They can ask questions or share their worries. Teachers are really helpful to the students. Exams are scheduled twice a year. It is semester-wise, so January and June are the months in which exams are conducted. There are 5 main subjects, of which 4 are compulsory and the remaining one is optional. The course is highly focused on research. The curriculum aims to provide advanced knowledge in the respective field with a combination of case studies, practice, etc. Exams are application-based and test the critical thinking ability of students.

My favourite college which is famous for placements.
Placements: Sixty-five percent of students get placed in campus interviews from our college. Their maximum salary is 3.6 LPA, and the minimum salary is 2.4 LPA per annum. Employed in various space research centers and radio stations. Also, various students have been appointed for research work. A six-month internship and a monthly stipend of Rs 2,500 are offered at the end of the course.
Infrastructure: The college does not have its own hostel but close to it is offered mess rent with a low rent. The infrastructure and the college are very advanced, and Wi-Fi is available everywhere. The college has a library and such books that there are also quiet places to sit. The college has a nice garage for storing cars and bicycles. The college has a big football field.
Faculty: Our college has qualified and supportive teachers. Almost all of them completed their Ph.D. They use prior learning methods. They help with each problem based on research. They always create a friendly zone with the students and discuss their problems. Our college exam system is a semester exam, and the passing percentage is 90%.

B.Voc. in Jewellery Designing - Batch of 2025
3.8
3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
The faculty and the department really helped us to complete the course. The teachers are friendly.
Placements: In my class, there are 4 students, and for gemology, there are around 40 students in my batch. Jewelers and jewelry manufacturing units recruit students from our department. We are appointed as hand sketchers, CAD designers, and diamond graders. The course fee is 9,900 per semester. All the passed-out students are now working in comfortable jobs according to their liking.
Infrastructure:
We have a gemology lab with all the stones and needed equipment and instruments. There is a jewelry lab with computers for CAD. There is a library with all kinds of books necessary. Hostel food is average. The hostel provides us with bunk beds, a rack for storage, and chairs. There is a study hall, which is also used as a dining area.
Faculty:
Teachers are really helpful and supportive. They help us through our exams to study well and attend the exams well. Semester exams are not that hard compared to those of other departments. Teachers are well-planned about what they are going to teach us next. They are really friendly.
Other:
They teach some unnecessary subjects, like psychology and zoology, which are not that relevant to our course. They provide scholarship programs for students. I chose this course because I am interested in jewelry designing.
