St. Xavier's College, established in 1944, is an autonomous institution located in Ranchi. It is established and administered by Ranchi Jesuit Province of the Society of Jesus. It is affiliated to Ranchi University. The UGC gave autonomous status to the college and granted ' College with Potential for Excellence' status in 2015. St. Xavier's College Ranchi is accredited with NAAC with Grade 'B+'.
