SIHM-K, a government college for hotel management .

Placements: The top role offered is management trainee. The college offers a 100% placement and internship if you pass your practical and theory exams. Top recruiting companies like Taj and Oberoi offer placement and internships for our course.

Infrastructure: We have three to four different kitchens like basic kitchen, advanced kitchen quantity kitchen, etc. There are also 2 bakeries to practice in. Two different restaurants are there for our F&B practice, one with a bar. Two guestrooms are provided for our housekeeping practice and an exception is provided for our front office practice. We also have a computer lab and a language lab. We also have French, Arabic, and German classes.

Faculty: Our teachers are highly helpful and qualified faculty. And we sometimes also get different classes from executive chefs and very high-profile people from this field. The curriculum is very relevant making us ready for any situations we will face in the future. The semester exams are average tough and the pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I choose this course because of my passion for cooking. The best memories is making food and eating what we made. We celebrates things like world tourism day and world chief day which are related to your field .

In our college, faculty members and placements are good.

Placements: We have, including hotel management, four main departments. Around 70% of students are placed. In our college, 20 students in housekeeping, 15 students in the front office, and 15 students in service and food production are placed. The average salary offered is between Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 18,000. Top recruiters are the Taj hotel, resorts, and many other hotels. The top role is a chef.

Infrastructure: In our college, Wi-Fi is available in the computer lab, and the lab is excellent. Classrooms and the practical kitchen are clean and well-maintained. The library is perfect but only provides subject-based books. Our hostels are all newly constructed, so everything is new and clean. The quality of the food is good because the course is hotel management. No medical facilities, sports, or games are provided by the college.

Faculty: All our teachers are perfect. Some of them may seem rough to you, but all they do is prepare us for what we will face in this field. They make us ready for industry. Written exams are easy to understand and read. More important is being practical so put in your maximum effort.

Other: I chose it because, since childhood, it has been exciting to know what exactly this course is about. After learning about it, I started to like it. I wish to work in a busy kitchen with my colleagues. Events and festivals are organised.

It is a good college to have a successful future.

Placements: Almost 100% placements are provided, and jobs are provided for all students. Hotels such as Taj, Oberoi, Hyatt, Zuri, etc., and outlets such as KFC, Domino's and Reliance also visit our college to conducts interviews. There are 100% placements for all students until now. The placement coordinator named Abhilash sir works very hard.

Infrastructure: Our college is good, and the hostel is not at all useful. Accommodation is available only for 50 students. A new hostel is constructing near the campus, but it is not yet opened. The new hostel is capable of accommodating 400 students, and it is sprawled over 4 floors.

Faculty: There are excellent and knowledgeable faculty members. There are 3 chefs, including 2 male faculty members and 1 female faculty member. All faculty members are extremely qualified and friendly. The principal is a very experienced person and popular in the hotel industry.
