Satisfied because the management listens to everyone's problems and tries to solve them.

Placements: 100% placement. Taj, Oberoi, Marriott, and Hyatt are recruiting. The package depends on the skill (e.g., a highly skillful person works as a manager, so they get a good package). In my batch, every student gets training from good companies. Companies like Marriott, Leela Palace, Hyatt Regency, Fairmont, and Hilton provide training opportunities.

Infrastructure: College has good infrastructure. It includes a library, air-conditioned classrooms, Wi-Fi, a gym, a volleyball ground, and sports equipment. Hostel rooms are spacious and have lockers. Hot water is available 24/7. Good-quality food is served in the mess. Recently, new sports equipment has been purchased. Students are allowed to use it.

Faculty: All faculty members are qualified. They have good knowledge of the industry. All faculty members are helpful. The curriculum is designed so that students are prepared for the industry. It depends on the students. If students listen when faculty members teach and do their work properly, it's enough to get good marks.

Other: In this course, there are many opportunities, but skills are required.

A great learning experience at SIHM.

Placements: The highest package at the State Institute of Hotel Management, Siddhpur, is 6 LPA, the average package ranges between 2.4 LPA and 4 LPA, and the lowest package ranges between 1.5 LPA and 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our college include Marriott, Taj, Leela, Hilton, and others. Around 100% of students get internships in reputed companies such as these.

Infrastructure: Our college has many modern facilities that enhance our education. It includes a housekeeping lab, a restaurant lab for service practicals, a bakery, and a kitchen for production practicals. There is also a computer lab for improving technical knowledge and working on projects. The college provides hostel facilities with basic amenities. For sports activities, there are facilities for volleyball and badminton. A laundry lab is also available for housekeeping practicals.

Faculty: In our college, faculty members are highly qualified. They have excellent hospitality industry knowledge. They also possess a great amount of experience. Their teaching quality is outstanding. They prepare students for the hospitality industry and help them develop the skills required for their careers. The semester exams are not very difficult, and almost all students pass. Only a few students fail the semester exams.

Other: I chose this course because I want to join a cruise ship. Best things about this course are that it improves our personality and communication skills. It teaches us how to behave and interact with others. It also provides worldwide career opportunities. I wish attendance requirement were reduced from 75 to 50 percent. Apart from this rule, everything is perfect. There is no need for any other changes.

A good environment for growth.

Placements: Most students get placements in good companies with attractive packages. Nearly 100 percent of students get internships at hotels such as Marriott, Fairmont, and Leela Palace. Students secure positions such as Assistant Manager, Supervisor, Human Resources Executive, and other hospitality-related roles.

Infrastructure: A college has classrooms with air conditioning and projectors. Labs are furnished with all the necessary equipment. The hostel provides a 24/7 water supply and has good sports facilities. We also have indoor games such as carrom and chess which we play during our free time. All facilities are good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. The course makes students industry-ready. The semester pass percentage is around 75–80 percent. Faculty members have good knowledge. They help us all the time whenever we ask and support us in developing a good personality.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in cooking. There are high chances of getting a job or going abroad in the future.

My overall experience at SIHM.

Placements: SIHM provides excellent placements in 5-star hotels like Taj, Oberoi, Marriott, ITC, Hyatt, and Leela. I am very happy to be a part of SIHM. As a student, the placement process is very smooth. I get my industrial training in the 5-star hotel of my choice.

Infrastructure: SIHM has state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities. I have been studying here for almost three years, so I can confidently say that. We have different labs for practical exposure. It includes a separate kitchen for Food & Beverage Production, a separate bakery for baked products and confectionery, a laundry lab, a suite room, and a Front Office Lab. The hostel facility is good, along with three-sharing rooms, a volleyball court, gym, garden, and other sports equipment.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and support us in every aspect of our curriculum, personal development, and soft skills. They are highly qualified. Many holding Ph.D. degrees, and have several years of hotel industry experience. The curriculum provides knowledge of every aspect of the hospitality industry, from hotels and resorts to airlines and cruises. It also includes a foreign language subject, French.

Other: I chose this because I want to open my own restaurant and hotel. This course provides entrepreneurial exposure. I believe the hostel facility can be improved. Rooms are a little small for three students sharing. In our college, every festival is celebrated, including Vasant Panchami, Uttarayan, Shivratri, Holi, Janmashtami, Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, and Christmas.

Infrastructure: We have four training kitchens, a front office lab, a restaurant lab, a laundry lab, and many other facilities to learn about the hospitality industry. The infrastructure is much better than that of other colleges in this fee range and is difficult to find elsewhere. Campus is well maintained. Daily operations are carried out efficiently. Facilities like college vehicles, hostel accommodation, and sports facilities are provided.

I am completely satisfied with the food served in the mess, and excellent faculty members.

Placements: A student should complete 10+2 in any stream with an aggregate of 45%. This course is for four years. They will help you to find the internship which is divided into two parts summer and winter internships and it is mandatory for students to complete, and it can also help for placements.

Infrastructure: In our college, there are many labs like a restaurant lab, production lab, computer lab and all are well-equipped labs. In the hostel, one room can be accommodated by 3 students. The food is served and prepared in a very hygienic manner. All classrooms have air-conditioners with projectors and all. There is a seminar hall and apart from this there is a first aid room.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well educated and they always help their students whenever they face problems. They know modern trends in the industry. The course curriculum will help you to understand properly the operations of the hotels. Both theory and practical classes are taken in our college itself.

Other: I chose this course because it is its four years duration. Apart from this it approved by AICTE and promoted by Gujarat Tourism (TCGL).

The college is very good to become a good hotelier.

Placements: For industrial training, we have to give an interview, and then the company will select us. Around 4 students are selected based on communication skills, knowledge, etc. Roles offered to the students will depend on the company. Some companies offered a salary of Rs. 1,500 per month and some of them also offered a salary of Rs. 4,000 per month. The main reason for industrial training is to gain knowledge of all the areas of the company.

Infrastructure: The campus is very good. The college provides hostel facility. There is one medical room in our college. Food served in the mess is good. The college provides 3 times meals to the hostel students.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good. They are always ready to clear the doubts of students. They are very helpful. Their teaching techniques are good, and they make us understand the topic very well. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this college because one day I was just surfing about the new course apart from B.Com and BBA, then I saw the hotel management course. I searched for the hotel management college near me then I found this SIHM. Then I just visited this college, and I saw the campus, and I talked to students of this college, then they also suggested me to join this college.
