It is a nice college for only purpose of studies but not for anything else.
Placements: Percentage of students who got placement opportunities is 5%. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Infosys, etc. Around 15% of students got internships. Top roles offered are accountant, financial staff, etc. Internship training classes are also provided.
Infrastructure: There is no free Wi-Fi (even if it is for education purposes). Labs are well maintained but not easily accessible. Classrooms are well-maintained but small in size. It has a very good library with good ambiance. There are no variet of books. There is an average rated food in canteen. Sports and games competitions are held once a year.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, experienced, and highly knowledgeable. Teaching quality can be rated as 4/5. Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, HCL, etc. Around 30-40% of students got internships. Top roles offered are financial manager, assistant manager, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are neat. The library and labs are good. The hostel facility is not available in our college. We have a canteen. The food served in the canteen is good and hygienic.
Faculty: Our faculty members are talented and friendly. The teaching quality is up to the mark. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy. It is an autonomous college. Almost all students pass exams.
Other: Events and fests are held in our college. It is an affordable college. Our college is good in terms of education.

Placements: In the sixth semester, students become eligible to attend placements. Companies like Airtel, Capgemini, HDFC Bank, Infosys, Micro Labs, and Wipro visit our college for recruitment. The highest package offered is 10 LPA. The average package offered is 4 LPA. About 65% of students get placed. The other 35% of students pursue higher studies. Around 40% of students got internship offers from these companies. Top roles are accounting and auditing, tax advisory services, commercial banking, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are literally a good atmosphere for students. Desks, writing boards, everything makes sense. Classrooms are enabled with projectors, so most professors would use projectors to demonstrate a lesson to students. The library consists of 25,000 to 30,000 books on various subjects like art, literature, science fiction, historical fiction, biography, etc. Surana College doesn't have a hostel facility. A canteen is available. They ensure hygiene and healthy food is provided to students. A gym facility is available. Indoor games can be played.
Faculty: Professors are qualified with vast experience. Many are part of the textbook committee. They are humble with students. They take extra care of students, ensuring that they have completed their classwork. As B.Com students, we visit the trade center and stock market with the assistance of our college. As we were an earlier batch, our college had been affiliated with Bangalore University. Now it is an autonomous college.
Other: Students enjoy campus life. No professor would scold students for enjoying campus life. College management organise events for students to keep them cherished. Events include Ethnic Day, intercollegiate, Sports Day, etc.

The best college for freshers to have lots of memories & a good time .
Placements: About 80% student got placement and we had Accenture, Microsoft, Wipro, Amazon and micro labs visiting the campus for placements. Although no one got internships, but lot of activities & many other things, lot of competition were held and they helped us releasing our hidden talents which helped us in growing in a particular field.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel in our college or provided by it, we do have Wi-Fi, water purifiers, laboratories, library, a parking zone, a canteen, auditorium, staff room, a small kind of garden with benches & we had very good surrounding & environment there no issue of transportation also.
Faculty: Passing percentage is 35%, teachers are always been supportive & they are always ready to help in terms of any semester doubts or teaching doubts, semester exams are quite tough so that you prepare harder for your main semester exam & don't have any backlogs by your end of the journey of B.Com.
Other: B.Com is what is always I wanted to do as it is helpful for me in future in taking up course about stock market which I was always interested in.

Good faculty members and infrastructure.
Placements: All students do not got placed. Rarely 1:40 students get placed in the college. The highest package is 10 LPA. Only 10% got internships. Accounting, finance, banking, and insurance are the top roles offered in my college. The lowest package is 1 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is too good. Wi-Fi is available, but the password is not shared with students. Library is well-maintained and has many books. There is no hostel in the college. There are labs for B.Com, but other courses have labs. The building is maintained well and has a canteen too.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and coordinated, but the principal is very strict and egoistic. The teaching quality is good, and the course curriculum is relevant. However, since it is an evening college, I have no idea about being industry-ready. The semester exams are very easy. You can study one day before and pass.

Surana College is a private college in Bangalore. It is affiliated to Bangalore University. India Today ranked the college 60 for BBA & 63 for BCA in 2025. BBA & MBA are the flagship course of the college. overal, it is a good college in terms of faculty, rankings, placements, infrastructure, etc.
