College of Engineering Science and Technology is not good. It provides only degree.

Placements: It is a good college, but placements are poor here. I have studied here for the last four years. There were no placements for any student. Every year, the placement record of the college is very poor. Students should depend on their own. Placements were poor.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The location is absolutely good and it is outside Lucknow city. There is a cricket ground available but did not play any match in the cricket ground. The Wi-Fi is not available here. The college library doesn't provide any book.

Faculty: Every course is available in the college but there are not experienced faculty members. Experienced faculty members are the most important part of any engineering college. The college offers a study environment. The most important thing is that the college placement portal is always updated.

Other: The college doesn't organise any event. There is no scholarship facility. There is no campus placement agency.

There were no on-campus placements in the previous year.

Placements: There are no placements on the campus. Placement section is poor as no one like the director or CEO takes the responsibility of placements. They didn't provide any placements in private or government sector. The college is only for business purpose but not for studies.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility provided in labs, classrooms, library, and canteen area. The college labs are very bad as the maintenance of instruments and machines are not good. The quality of the classrooms is average as there is no smart board or smart classrooms. The college canteen is poor as the quality of the food in it is not that good.

Faculty: The faculty members are poor and inexperienced. The teaching quality in college is bad because they don't provide smart classes and Wi-Fi facility. The faculty to student ratio is poor as some of the faculty members teach five to six classes a day, and the teaching hours are six to eight, so the faculty members are not continuing to teach in this college.

Other: The campus is good in all aspects.

I do not recommend the college. If you have good grades then please try for some good options.

Placements: There are no good placements for B. Tech students. From the last two years, no core company has visited this college. Instead, they are calling telecom companies like Digicall etc. If a startup visits our college for core field, then the salary would not be more than 7K. It's like getting placed for an internship. Only 1% - 2% students get placed for that job. No company visited for internships in the 3rd year. When I was in the last year, I got an offer from Infranix Tech from campus, which is a startup in Lucknow but they were providing only 5K of stipend and 2 years of bond, which is not so good placement by the college. Companies also came for recruiting BBA and MBA students, i.e. Tommy Hilfiger for the post of CRO(customer relation officer). In this company, B.Tech students are also recruited but none from the management course was placed and only 1 from B. Tech was placed. The placement cell is not good. The current TPO is Mr. Amit Srivastava and he does not know anything about the placements or how to execute the campus placement.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but some things are not. For e.g. Wi-Fi is not good for the students in the college. There are very good computer labs. Games and sports are also good. There is a very good cricket pitch with a large ground. But in the case of a medical facility on campus, there is only 1 member in the medical room and even he does not know anything about medical aids. I don't know much about the hostel as I am a day scholar.

Faculty: There are only a few faculty members who are good. But after my batch graduated, many of those faculty members left the college. I don't much about the current faculty but as my juniors tell me, only a few of them are good. But when compared to other things, the faculty members are good.

Other: In this college, there are three institutions i.e. College of Engineering Science and Technology(CEST), Surya School of Planning & Engineering Management (SSPEM) and Surya College of Business Management(SCBM). I would like to tell you about CEST and SSPEM. In both the colleges, B. Tech course fees are different but the students of both the colleges study in the same class at the same time. The same faculty members teach them. But I do not know that why there is a fee difference.

A very poor college and a waste of time and money for everyone.

Placements: It is not good as only a few students were placed but not in their core branches. I do not suggest to take admission on the basis of placement. Companies do not come on the job fairs, and only the advertisement for the job fair is placed. I am totally not satisfied with this point by my college.

Infrastructure: The medical facility is average, and the classrooms are not digital overall. The labs are full of only models. The library is good but does not have any new editions of books for the students. Sports and games are not regular as it is only in one year and one time in the annual function of the college. The quality of labs and classrooms is average, and the food on the canteen is good but costly, though there will be a discount for the students.

Faculty: Only 25 percent of the faculty members are helpful for the students while seventy-five percent of them are freshers and even do not know how to teach. They only copy the notes. For eight lectures in a day, only 4 teachers are available and 1 teacher teaches 2 or 3 subjects. The course curriculum is not useful and it is a waste of time.

I am very satisfied with faculty members of our college.

Placements: Around 70-75% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary offered was Rs 25,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs 20,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs 15,000 per month.

Infrastructure: All facilities were available. The infrastructure was also good. Wi-Fi was not enabled. Mobile phones were not allowed in our classrooms. I was a day scholar so I did not know about hostel facilities. Classrooms were well-maintained. Around 40-50 students could accommodate easily in our classroom.

Faculty: Faculty members were very good and knowledgeable. Semester exams were difficult.

Surya Group of Institutions has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Courses	Eligibility
BBA	Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with mentioned marks from a recognised board.
B.Com	Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with economics or mathematics as one of the subjects and obtained minimum mentioned marks.
B.E. / B.Tech	Candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering / Technology from a recognized board.
After 10th Diploma	Candidate must have passed class 10th examination with a minimum of 35% marks from a recognized board/Institute. The minimum age is 14 years as on 1st July 2022, i.e. born on or before 01-07-2009.
MBA/PGDM	Candidate with grace marks are not allowed for admission. Final year students can also apply on provisional basis.
