Review of Susil Kar College .
Placements: As this is a non-professional course provided by the college so there is no placement corporation and coordination. However, after completing graduation students get good opportunities to shine in different sectors. You can see a huge bright list of alumni.
Infrastructure: It is a huge campus with medium well-decorated classrooms. Labs are large and well maintained and are suitable for doing various kinds of experiments. A big playground is situated in front of the college for playing football, cricket, volleyball, etc. The canteen is not only affordable but hygienic also.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful and supportive. They treat students as their family members. The course curriculum is relevant. It doesn't make students industry-ready, but it does make them ready to take responsibility.

Average college with no placements, good only for getting a degree.
Placements: Honesty, the placement situation at Sushil Kar College for B.A. students isn't great. From what I've heard from seniors, nobody really gets placed through the college, most people have to find their own way. The college does offer paid internships, mainly in content creation, but they don't really help with getting a job afterwards. It's more like a formality. After B.A., people generally look for jobs in content, marketing, admin, or prepare for teaching or government roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite basic, with standard classrooms and unreliable Wi-Fi. The library is decent, but specialised facilities are lacking. Hostel conditions are average, and the mess food is often disappointing, leading to reliance on the canteen. Medical and sports provisions are minimal. Placements are not actively facilitated by the college, with students seeking opportunities independently, mainly in content and marketing fields.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful if you approach them, but the teaching style is very old-school, mostly just finishing the syllabus. The B.A. curriculum is okay for getting a degree, but honestly, it doesn't make you industry-ready. You won't get a job just by relying on college notes, you have to hustle outside. Semester exams aren't that hard if you study a month before. Most students pass easily, with a pass percentage around 80-85%, but the real struggle is finding a good career afterwards.
Other: The infrastructure is quite basic, and Wi-Fi is unreliable. Placements are minimal, students seek opportunities independently. Paid internships in content creation are not very beneficial. Teaching quality is old-school, and the curriculum isn't industry-ready. Exams are manageable, with a good pass percentage, but career growth is a challenge. Campus life is average with minimal events.

A tier 2 college, if you just want a degree, doesn’t care about campus life, go for it.
Placements: As for placements, there were none, as it’s not a professional course. They encouraged us for internships though.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was moderate, I would say, not too good, not too bad for a tier 2 college. Especially as it is not located in Kolkata, the campus life is not very eventful. There aren’t many clubs or activities. It was mostly study, give exams, and graduate.
Faculty: The teachers, again, I would say, were very helpful. The HOD was even better. In terms of notes and everything, they helped throughout the journey. You could reach out to them easily if you had any problem, whether academic or campus-related.
Other: Honestly, I chose this course because I have always been comfortable with numbers. Maybe at some point, I was confused if I should have taken another course, but anyways, it has scope.
