My honest review of my college.

Placements: Placement and job opportunities are excellent and depend mostly on how well you perform in your course curriculum as well as how much insight you gain beyond the walls of the course and curriculum. The return on Investment from this college is very high as the fees are less compared to other B-schools, yet the average package is comparable to other tier-II colleges and many times above that too.

Infrastructure: Hostels are good and well-maintained and has very good amenities. The mess food is hygienic but not tasty at all, barring the breakfast, which indeed is very good, but there are lots of options in and around the campus itself. Jain food is also available. It is different from other courses as it offers an MBA in Information Technology Business Management. I chose Information Security as my specialization. The student ratio is very good.

Faculty: Visiting faculty members are very good, and a handful of full-time faculty members are very good. The course curriculum is excellent if someone wants to pursue their career in the information and technology industry, specifically the systems and IT security specialization, which are unlike any other in the entire nation as of this date. The faculty is superb, very experienced, and relevant for the courses. Many industry experts & visiting faculty members for the specific courses. Even people like the Gartner India CEO, senior managers from IT bellwether companies, are some of the faculty members. Almost all the faculty members have a Ph.D. or are pursuing one. Exams are not that difficult to pass.

Alumni review of SCIT Pune.

Placements: Students from 3rd semester are eligible for placement, more than 45 companies visit campus with more than 350 offers made for 300 students. Some students get 2 offers. The highest package is 29.5LPA while the average package is 13.5LPA. At SCIT, most roles are related to information security and ITBM. The internship offers are mostly related to data science, and all companies coming for internships are reputed, with top companies including Microsoft and Google.

Infrastructure: The annual fest is great on campus, with lots of competitions and activities. The library is well-equipped with books, and we also receive study material from teachers. The classrooms are well-built and suitable for studies. There is Wi-Fi available in both the campus and hostel. Hostel rooms have all necessary facilities, and the meal quality is okay. The registration process is smooth, and the college has a swimming pool and an indoor sports court.

Faculty: The course curriculum is extensive, with around 26 subjects for the 1st year and about 14 subjects for the 2nd year, alongside internship/placement activities. The faculty are experienced with deep knowledge and higher qualifications, including some Ph.D. holders. The exams have a more practical-oriented approach with experiential learning provided.

Placements and infrastructure are the best.

Placements: SCIT College is one of the best business schools in India. Approximately 100% of students get on-campus placements every year. Many big companies like KPMG, IBM, Goldman Sachs, Accenture, Cognizant, etc. are recruiting. The average package is 7–10 LPA. The highest package was 34 LPA in our course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent. All the facilities at the SCIT are top-notch. The labs are fully developed and equipped. Libraries are supplied with all the books and have more than 15,000 books. There is Wi-Fi connectivity on the full college campus. The classrooms are big and airy. The hostel's facilities are also good. The mess in the hostel is hygienic and the food is delicious.

Faculty: All the teachers at the college are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers are very supportive and helpful. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The exams are semester-based and tough to pass. Teachers used to focus on skill development.

Other: The best college for the placements. The faculty at the college is the best.

Details of my experience of Online MBA from SCIT.

Placements: 100% of the batch was place where the highest package was 23 LPA for ITBM and 13 LPA for DSDA, 12 LPA as average salary for both the batches, every year companies like Goldman Sachs, Ernest and Young and KPMG come for placements. Business analyst, Data analyst, Requirements engineering and quality management are the potential job roles. 100% of the batch got internships.

Infrastructure: Although I have never been to the campus the Life of SCIT video that was shown at the Induction process portrayed that the hostels are really good. The official website of SCIT provides more information about the same. Historically Symbiosis institutes are known for the superior infrastructure they offer and SCIT is not an exception.

Faculty: The teaching quality is really good and they are industry experts who have the mindset to learn more and share knowledge. The case studies and other methods that the teachers use are thought-provoking and force you to know more about the domain and be well-versed in it.

It is a Premiere IT Business school, which is nurturing Future Techno- Managers .

Placements: Placements for Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology are quite decent. Various companies visit for both Information Technology and Business management (ITBM) and Data Sciences and Data Analytics specialisation for both -internships and placements. Companies like EY, PwC, Cummins, Accenture, Goldman Sachs, KPMG and various others visit the campus every year for placements. Students with good work experience and freshers have equal opportunity with decent CTC and good profiles.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of SCIT is very good and well planned. The practical academic block is well-equipped with various labs like POC-Labs, SAP Next- Gen lab which provides students with the hands-on experience. Wi-Fi facility, laundry, Juice Centre, Retail shop, etc. are the facilities provided to the students on campus as it is a residential programme. Hostel and mess facilities are also perfect.

Faculty: The Faculty members at SCIT are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have teaching experience of more than a decade. SCIT also have visiting faculty members who are industry experts so that the students will have the practical industrial knowledge. Students in these years are provided with the mentoring by the different faculty members so that they get clear picture about life and career.

Other: Many fests are conducted by the Student Committees and Student Driven Committees and are monitored by the faculty members. Graffitti is one of the most awaited fest each year at SCIT. In SCIT there is a lot of cultural diversity as students come from diverse regions of India and other native countries.

Placements: SCIT is a premiere business school which provides specializations in various domains of IT. It has a consistent track record of placing 100% of the eligible students. The participating companies are from various industries such as consulting, IT, banking and finance. Some of the top recruiters include Deloitte, Accenture, Goldman Sachs, Infosys and various other similar companies.

Infrastructure: SCIT is a part of the SIC campus located in Hinjewadi, the IT hub of the city which is surrounded by various MNCs. It is a completely residential campus with all the necessary facilities such as mess, gymnasium, indoor swimming pool, ATM, stationery and general store available. The hostel rooms are spacious and well-equipped with geyser and other amenities. The mess food is of good quality and offers a lot of variety. The campus is also well-equipped with the essential medical and healthcare facilities. The college is well-equipped with good infrastructure which consists of classrooms and assembly rooms that provide a very good environment for studying. It also has computer labs where all the practical sessions are conducted and a library which consists of wide variety of books, journals, publications to further broaden the horizons of the students in addition to the classroom teaching.

Faculty: The curriculum of the course involves a lot of practical knowledge along with the classroom teaching. The students learn the concepts by applying them in real life scenarios such as industry related projects, case studies and various other assignments. The course includes technical as well as managerial subjects which enables the students to be well versed with the latest requirements of the industry. The faculty members are experienced, and the subjects are taught by industry experts which gives a great exposure to the students as they understand the business scenarios of various industries. Apart from academics, the course aims at a holistic development of the students by encouraging them to participate in various extra-curricular activities and B-school competitions.
