SLS Pune LLB Courses & Fees 2025: Admission (open), Eligibility, Application Process

The fees for SLS Pune LLB course is INR 9 lakh. Candidates must pay the LLB fees once the merit lists are out. The SLS Pune LLB fees might include multiple components such as tuition fees, candidates might have to pay multiple fee components, including Institute Deposit, Hostel Deposit, etc. The one-time payment for the LLB course is INR 20,000, which is only to be paid during admission.

The exam shall be held in computer-based test mode. Other than the exam score, candidates must also qualify for the LLB eligibility criteria as follows:

Eligibilty Criteria: Class 12 or equivalent examination from any recognised board with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade (40% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes).

Candidates who have passed Class 12 from any recognised board and pursuing a 5-year Law programme in any Law college in Pune (For courses other than Law, aspirants need to be graduate from any recognised university and meet other criteria prescribed by SIU) are eligible to apply for Diploma programme offered at SLS Pune.

The registration of SLAT usually starts in December. Apart from this, complete schdeule of SLAT will be released on the official website. The SLAT application process includes the following steps:

SLAT, or Common Law Admission Test, is a nation-level entrance exam for admission to BA LLB and BBA LLB courses offered by the Law Schools or SLSs of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Nagpur, and SLS Hyderabad. The entrance exam is conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode for a duration of two hours. Candidates qualifying the SLAT are then shortlisted for admission to the four SLSs through a counselling process based on the collective scores of the SLAT entrance exam, Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interaction (PI). The medium of the examination is English only.

Symbiosis Law School (SLS) Pune offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Diploma level courses to its students with the admission to the latter being done on the basis of merit in the qualifying exams. Based on the scores attained in the entrance examinations conducted by the college, students for UG and PG levels are given admissions. The two exams are Symbiosis All India Admission Test (AIAT) and Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT).

For BA LLB (Hons)/ BBA LLB (Hons), candidates need to apply for both SLS Pune and SLAT registration. Aspirants need to pay the fee for both as those who will register only for SLAT will not be eligible to participate in the PI process. Candidates have to pay INR  2,250 for SLAT and INR 1,000 for the course. Below-mentioned is the application process:

Step 4: Pay the application fee via any of the online payment mode or DD.

There are a total of 60 seats available in the LLB programme of SLS Pune. Candidates are offered seat in LLB based on their AIAT score. AIAT is a computer-based test comprising writing sample, 10 objective questions and online psychometric test. Selected candidates have to further pass the PI round for final admission. Those who are offered seat need to pay the course fee for confirmation.

Candidates need to submit the SLAT application fee to be able to apply for Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT).

The SLAT 2026 application last date was November 30, 2025. To fill the registration cum application form, candidates had to visit slat-test.org.

In order to qualify for SLS Nagpur BA LLB, candidates must participate in and qualify the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT). The SLAT test is held by Symbiosis International to admit students to various Law courses at its branches across India.

After determining their eligibility for SLAT and applying for the test, the student must clear the exam based on the respective cutoff released for their SLS of choice. Thereafter, they will be required to appear for a Personal Interaction (PI) session, which would carry a weightage of 30% in the admission process. The SLAT test carries a weightage of 70%.

Talking about the registration stage, candidates applying for the SLAT test would also be required to pay INR 2,250 as registration. This does not include the separate SLS Nagpur registration fees of INR 1,000 that students applying there must pay.
