College is wonderful.

Placements: This is the first batch that started in Symbiosis. The internships are going very well and I am hoping for placements to be good as the value it holds is appreciable. Top roles which can be offered could be all management roles in any food industry.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of classrooms and campus is very beautiful and well-structured. Wi-Fi facilities are available all over the campus. SIU library is one of the most popular and the biggest library in India. The quality of the hostel is also very good.

Faculty: The teaching faculty members and training are very well-executed. It's all structured before and teachers are very helpful for students. Course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The difficulty level of examination is not too high or too low.

Other: This course is unique and well-designed. Events, fest, and all extracurricular activities are given importance.

Symbiosis School of Culinary Arts and Nutritional Sciences - One of the best in the field.

Placements: As per my knowledge, I am pretty sure every student who studied and got a degree from this college. Students have ended up getting either low placements (the industry average), and get amazing offers from the top brands, for example Aditya Birla New Age Hospitality, Oberoi, Marriot, etc. The college helps everyone get internships, since we have two internships, one for 6 weeks and one for 6 months. We get amazing and very big stand-alone restaurants for 6 weeks for example, Abnah or any well-known restaurant, and for 6 months a lot of internships are offered in Dubai, etc.

Infrastructure: College provides multiple facilities such as multiple hot kitchen labs, bulk kitchen labs, bakery and patisserie labs, top-notch library, and a studio kitchen where other chefs come and give lectures. We have Wi-Fi facility also. Mess food is good for hostel life. We have multiple sports grounds, gym, etc.

Faculty: Teachers/chefs are all highly qualified in their own fields, and they teach us very diligently. The course curriculum is very relevant and teaches us all the basics to know before stepping into the industry. Semester exams are difficult but our teachers teach us in such a way that there is a very high pass percentage.

Other: I chose this course because of my passion for becoming a chef and getting in was a dream come true. This course is hands down one of the best courses in India for this field. There is always room to improve and this college keeps trying its best. There are a lot of events and fests held every year. The campus crowd is friendly and welcoming too.

Review of Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences, Symbiosis International, Pune.

Placements: Yes, the placement is nice; on average, more than 60% of the batch can get placed. The college helps in getting both the internship and the placement for the students. The highest package that was offered was around 9 LPA and the average was between 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well developed and the hostel is very nice. There are washing machine facilities, we do have common rooms where we sit and play a few indoor games, and we have attached room facilities available. There are sports areas where we have a badminton court and a tennis court.

Faculty: The curriculum is well-structured and covers all the necessary electives, and we have choice options also available. A few practical sessions and scenarios help us get trained in a better way. The exams are not very difficult; you can pass. The passing percent is around 80.

Our college has good investment if you can afford it.

Placements: Placements were average. During COVID, many students got placed in this course. Internships were also offered in this course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very good. The equipment was also used in the industry. Classrooms were well-maintained. All facilities were decent. Sports were conducted. There was a gym facility in this college. A hospital was also available. Mess was very good.

Faculty: Teachers were knowledgeable and experienced. The teaching quality was outstanding. The course curriculum was relevant to make students ready for the industry. If we attended classes, we would score good marks during exams. One negative point was that faculty member turnover was very high as they leave after 2-3 years.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Both theoretical and practical skills were provided in this college. During lockdown, we had 10 hours of online classes.
