Great campus and facilities, decent placements, but teaching quality needs improvement.

Placements: I am part of the civil engineering batch. In my course, around 60 students got placed. However, no official package details are offered or disclosed. Top recruiters included L&T Construction, Tata Projects, and similar core companies. Almost every student got an internship, but these are mostly provided through the college itself and not with major external companies. The roles offered are mostly site engineer, junior engineer, and project supervisor. Overall, the placement support is average, and core company opportunities are limited.

Infrastructure: Civil engineering department has good infrastructure overall. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors. There is Wi-Fi access in both the labs and classrooms. About Wi-Fi, it's only available for faculty members, not for students. The food available in canteen is average not that good, and not that bad. Our college doesn't have much land where we can play outdoor games such as football or cricket.

Faculty: Faculty members are quite experienced and supportive. Most teachers are M.Tech or Ph.D. qualified, and they explained concepts well using both theoretical and practical examples. The curriculum is mostly relevant, covering core civil subjects like structural engineering, geotechnical, surveying, construction materials, and transportation. However, there is still scope for improvement by adding industry-oriented tools like AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, and project-based learning modules. Soft skill training and job-oriented workshops are conducted occasionally.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in that particular topic. The best thing I would say is to spend time with friends. I wish there were quality in every student, but I personally never attended any events.
