Review of Tawi Group of Colleges.

Placements: Our college did not provide placements. There was no placement cell. Internships were not provided. There was no guidance provided by our college. The placements are very low.

Infrastructure: All infrastructure is available, like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, libraries, etc. The quality of the hostel is good, but the food at the hostel is not good. Sports and games are played in the college, and medical facilities are also available in the college. Everyone is good, but college teachers are not so good.

Faculty: Teachers are very qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. This course is curriculum-relevant sometimes, but it does not make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are of a moderate level, and the passing mark is 23.

Other: The teachers are well qualified, helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good.

Placements: Our college did not provided placements. There was no placement cell. Internships were not provided. There was no guidance provided by our college.

Infrastructure: The campus was on the hills, so students could connect with nature, helping them develop physically and mentally. The atmosphere was pleasant.

Faculty: Exams developed by the university were very good and suitable. Exams were difficult. The structure of exams was good. It helped us work hard for the future. Exams were conducted by the university. Our college does not conduct them.

The college is good but teachers and staff are not good .

Placements: 23 students are placed in our course. No recruiting companies are coming to this college. Coding and some computer courses are offered in our course. No packages are offered in our course. My batch did not get any internship offer and didn't get any jobs.

Placements: This is Mannu mahotra graduated in B.Tech civil engineering from Tawi engineering college Punjab. I am from 2012-2016 batch of 2016 passing out year. 65% of students were placed in my course The highest salary package was 9.2lakh and the lowest package is 1.8 LPA Average salary package was 3.2lakh. Top recruiting companies are Jaypee group of companies, Navayuga, Megha engineering and infrastructure limited, JSW etc. 78% of students got the internships in my course I companies such as L&T, Navayuga, Build mate etc. The top roles offered in my course are graduate engineer trainee, plant engineer, junior engineer.

Infrastructure: The college has world class facilities and coming to the point of infrastructure the campus built up with highly sophisticated infrastructure, the campus is completely Wi-Fi enabled campus, Our college also has all types that which are required for every courses. Classrooms are spacious and comfortable and they also compatible with audio visual classes. We have a good library In our college that which has all types of books, journals, references etc. Students can get an access by furnishing the student Id. The quality of the facilities in our hostel are satisfactory. The college provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls with in the campus. The college has 4 canteens with in the campus which provides quality food with wide range of varieties in Northern and southern food styles. Medical facilities are available in the college for any emergency health services. The college also encourages the students to develop their interest in games and sports. It conducts regional sports meets to develop the keen interest of every individual in sports and games.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and friendly and every faculty in our college are well experienced and knowledge candidates and also very motivating to us they are well qualified in their particular streams and every individual has Ph.D. holding. The teaching quality is excellent and the thing is they explain everything in easy manner which can be grasped easily by everyone. The course that which I have choose its curriculum is relevant and it provides the students the perfect knowledge and skills and makes the students to be industry ready.

Other: We are from 2012-2016 batch of passing out year of 2016. I have choose this course because it has lot of demand and a lot of future prospects for long time. The best about my course are everything that we have learnt is skill Oriental that which carved as a professional. The things I wish it would be better if the course is designed in such a way that it should be completely skill and practical oriented. College also actively conducts fests and events throughout the year and encourages the students to participate in cultural events and activities, college conducts all types of departmental fests and youth fests which brings altogether at one point also acts as a place of knowledge exchange. College also provides scholarships for high merit secured students.

Not too much satisfied as the administration of the college is not helpful, but teachers are good.

Placements: For computer Science students the placement is very good but for civil, electrical & electronics there are few opportunities. This is the reason many civil students did not get placed through campus recruitment drives. In my batch the 80% Computer Science students were placed in reputed companies.

Infrastructure: Tawi is overall a good college, infrastructure is good, laboratories as well as library is too good. Separate hostels for boys and girls. Mess food is not up to the mark. Food available in the canteen is good. Well spacious classrooms and Laboratories. Playground for games and sports. Campus is not Wi-Fi enabled. There is no medical facility within the campus.

Faculty: The faculty of the college is very good, they work very hard to teach students. Maximum teachers are post graduate and some of them are Ph.D. holders. Their communication as well as technical skills are very good. Maximum teachers are interactive in nature. Course is according to Punjab Technical University standards.

Other: Technical events as well as fests were there once in a year. Extracurricular activities like games and sports were also organised once in a year. Scholarships are also provided to the students of socially backward classes.

Tawi Group of Colleges has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Courses	Eligibility
B.Com	The candidate must have studied Commerce in class 11 and 12 with the mentioned main subjects.
After 10th Diploma	Candidate must have passed 10th standard/SSC examination from any recognised board/council.
B.Sc.	Candidate must have passed 12th with Science subjects (medical /Non Medical).
B.E. / B.Tech	Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam from a board recognised or established by Central/State Government through a legislation with Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Information Technology/ informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies & obtained the above mentioned percentage (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Candidates who have passed Diploma in any Engg. Trade from (PSBTE & IT) or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal, or any such examination from any other recognised State Board of Technical Education shall be eligible with the above mentioned percentage (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category). OR Candidates who have passed 2 years certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal shall be eligible.
