College is good, but it needs renovation. The neighboring college is better.
Placements: Currently, I am pursuing a B.Sc. AIML from TCSC Kandivali. There is no such placement record for AIML. As I am from the first batch of the program and currently in the second year. However, B.Sc. IT has a good placement record. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini. The highest package offered is 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good, but okayish. When you watch the college from outside, it looks like an abandoned building, but inside the college is under renovation, one floor at a time every year. Classrooms are old, Wi-Fi is weak, and the library is big but does not have AC.
Faculty: The teaching is quite good in this college. However, it is an autonomous college, so the passing criteria is 40%. They give hands-on experience and provide internships. Using projector screens for teaching and all that, but they can do much better than they are doing right now.
Other: I chose this course because I am a tech enthusiast, and I chose this college because my percentage was low.

Review of Thakur College of Science and Commerce.
Placements: The placement at TCSC is active. The overall placement rate for eligible students (typically starting from the fifth or sixth semester) is satisfactory. For the UG programs (B.Com, B.Sc., BMS), the median package is consistently around 3.0 LPA. The highest package is from 7.5 LPA to 10 LPA. It is largely dependent on the specific course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Thakur College of Science and Commerce is excellent and modern. The college building is spacious and well-maintained. Most classrooms are airy, well-lit, and equipped with ICT facilities such as projectors and screens. The departmental labs, especially for Science and IT students, are top-notch. It is well-equipped with necessary technologies. The library is a major strength, fully digitized, air-conditioned, and offering a vast space for studying. Regarding hostels, TCSC provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls with decent rooms that can accommodate multiple students.
Faculty: The college has autonomous status. It allows to design its syllabus to be more industry-aligned and focused on skill development through practical projects. Faculty members are highly regarded for being qualified, supportive, and approachable. Many professors hold Ph.D. degrees. They use modern teaching methods like smart boards and real-world examples.
Other: The college is NAAC A grade accredited. It has received the Best College Award from the University of Mumbai. For the academic year 2018–19, TCSC received the prestigious National Service Scheme (NSS) award from the President of India. It is frequently ranked among the top colleges in Mumbai, Maharashtra, for private autonomous institutions by various educational services. For example, it secured 51st rank in India, 20th in Maharashtra, and 16th in Mumbai under private autonomous colleges by Education World in 2022–2023.

I am a first year student and I am really enjoying my college life in this college as it proves.
Placements: Students are placed in the college. The placement package of this college is overall good enough, which is the main reason I chose this college over others. There are many big and good companies in touch with the college that will give you better placement jobs for a better package.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, as it contains normal facilities, since there are many colleges in Mumbai. Classrooms structure is good because the class is neat. There are libraries which is better in size for a student to study peacefully.
Faculty: The exam structure is very good because the college has strict rules during the exam, which can help a student to write their own words in the exam and not copy during the examination. Teachers and staff are also very friendly to the students, which helps them to open up and speak.
Other: I chose this course to enter into the world of management and wonder how the system of business works. I am really enjoying the course. The events, fest, and other activities are also very engaging in the college that every student can participate in.

Review of Thakur College of Science and Commerce.
Placements: Most of the students get an internship in our college. Top companies like Infosys, TCS, etc., are the top recruiting companies. The average Rs. 70,000 per month, depending on the situation of the recruiting company.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good compared to other colleges. The labs and classrooms are top-notch, and the best is the library, where you can get almost all the books. Hostels are good and the canteen is a little bit small, but the food is excellent.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. The course I am studying is very knowledgeable, and this course is in demand nowadays in the industry. The exams are not that difficult, but the passing percentage is low. Exams are easy if you study properly.

There is good exposure in marketing with decent placements and supportive faculty members.
Placements: I completed my BMS in Business and Marketing (2020-2023). Around 60-65% of students from my batch get placed. Top recruiting companies include marketing agencies, media houses, and digital firms. About 50% of students secure internships during college, either through the college placement cell or self-sourcing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the BMS department is good. Classrooms have projectors, whiteboards, and air-conditioning, which makes lectures comfortable and interactive. The college has a library with a decent collection of business books and access to digital learning resources. Although the college does not offer hostel facilities. The canteen is well-maintained and offers a variety of affordable food options. Medical facilities are available on campus. There are seminar halls and event spaces used frequently for workshops, guest lectures, and fests.
Faculty: Most faculty members are well-qualified, helpful, and approachable. They often brought real-life industry examples into lectures, which made learning more relevant. The course curriculum is industry-focused, especially for marketing students, with subject perfection.
Other: I chose this course because of my strong interest in marketing and content creation. What I loved the most was the balance between theoretical learning and practical exposure through internships and projects.
