Exploring the college from students point of view.
Placements: The placement cell is working pretty well in our college and most of the students who get trained by the placement cell got selected. The package varies from Rs. 8000 to Rs. 35,000 rupees. Companies offered jobs are TCS, Accenture, and Zoho. For my image students have offered jobs for BPO.
Infrastructure: Our college is an old college so the infrastructure in some buildings is old but they are developing. In our college, we have Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library facilities. In our college, we also have a hostel, mess, canteen medical facilities, sports, and games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The syllabus is relevant to the course. For some major students the exams are difficult based on their course needs and skills. When considering my nature the exams of pretty good and easy.
Other: I chose this course because my aim is to crack some government exams and I am studying for it. I would suggest the improvement of the syllabus to face the real world and to compete with other college students.

The real face of Thiagarajar College.
Placements: Almost every student who attended the placement training got selected, and the package varies from 8,000 to 35,000. The companies that provided offers are TCS, Accenture, Zoho, etc. Considering my major in English, we got offers for BPO roles, and some even got content writing jobs.
Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library facilities. The hostel food is good, though not the best. We also have a mess, canteen, and medical facilities. The college places importance on sports, games, and other extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified, and the syllabus is relevant to our subjects and course. Considering my major, the exams are quite good and easy. We can easily score well by paying attention to the staff while they are teaching.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in it, and I love my English major. Everything is okay, but I feel the syllabus needs improvement to better prepare us for the real world and to enhance our literary knowledge. Our college also conducts a sports day event and a cultural event.

A good college with many facilities.
Placements: About the number of students that were placed in our college, more than 70% of students have been placed and the highest package is 7.5 LPA, whereas the lowest package is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course were TCS, Zoho, and Accenture. From my course, I think only two students got placed and the top role offered was for BPO.
Infrastructure: For our course, we don't have any labs. We do have Wi-Fi, but it's only for the staff, not for the students. We do have a library and we can access it very easily. The classrooms are of average size. We don't have any smart classrooms; we just have the normal board. The facilities in our hostel are not that good. The food quality isn't good, it's just average, like other normal hostel places. As for the canteen, they don't provide that much real food, they have just snacks and stuff, and it is also not good. Medical facilities are there, but they don’t provide any such stuff. As for sports and games, we don’t have the right to access them. Only the morning session students have access to it.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful. They are very well-educated and qualified for the designated role and they are very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good, but I feel like, as the generation is growing, they can update to more specified teaching methods. The course curriculum is relevant as well as irrelevant; it's a mixture of both, so it makes the students industry-ready for sure. The semester exam in our college is not that difficult and the pass percentage is 99%.
Other: I chose this course because I like both history and English. I wanted something which talks about both and hence I chose this. I think they can improve with the method of teaching; that's what I would suggest. As for events, they don’t have such stuff. They have a one-day celebration, but they don’t do it annually. They just do it once in 3 years. It is like that.

Exploring the unexplored facts.
Placements: Mostly every student who opted for placement got selected, and the highest package salary is 35,000 with an average package of 12,000. Companies that offered placements were Zoho, Accenture, and TCS. Students got trained by some companies, while some companies didn't require training and gave direct job offers.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the college, and there's also a library, which the college is working to develop into a 7-floor library. Hostel food was okay, but not that great. Our college also has a canteen, mess, medical facilities, and sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are super helpful and highly qualified. The curriculum is relevant to the syllabus, but I feel it needs to improve more to face the real world. As far as my course is concerned, the syllabus is pretty easy, and the pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I like it and am interested in it. I think the syllabus needs to improve a little more. By the way, the events, campus grounds, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are all good.

It has a decent infrastructure but provides high knowledge.
Placements: Many students who attend placement training have got IT jobs. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 8,000-35,000 per month. Companies that offer placements are Zoho, Accenture, TCS, etc. In major English, we also got jobs as BPO and content writers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure needs to be developed more. We have a hostel facility, medical facility, etc. Our college also gives importance to sports.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and super friendly. Most of them are PhD holders. The course curriculum and syllabus are okay but still need to improve to face the real world. The course curriculum is relevant and for exams also as far as considering our major, it is super easy. The relationship between faculty and students is pretty good and the approach between them is also good.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in it. The best thing about the course is it is connected to the real world and emotions. The thing I would like to improve in my course is the syllabus and per year, we have to pay Rs. 40,000. The college also provides scholarships for needy students. It also conducts extracurricular activities.

This college have good infrastructure, maintain the discipline also.
Placements: This course is very useful, and if we have more than 90% in English, we will get an aid course. IT and software companies recruit for this course, and students get a 40% stipend for their internship. However, attendance is mandatory, as some companies won't hire if we don't have good attendance.
Infrastructure: Thiagarajar College has Wi-Fi, labs, smart classrooms, a library, and a canteen. The hostels have bedrooms for students and provide food and cleaning services. However, non-vegetarian food is not allowed on campus, so the hostels also serve only vegetarian food.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and they help with studies. Their teaching is also good. They conduct seminars, moral tests, and written tests for their subjects. These are very helpful for the students. The teachers take care of the students, and these subjects prepare the students for industry. The pass percentage for semaster is 40.
Other: Thiagarajar College has a report box for students to write about their own problems with the college. The box is anonymous, so students can write about anything that concerns them without fear of reprisal.
